Yesterday, I went to a place that always puts out lots of yummy snacks (cookies, fancy candies, etc). I would always have one or two when I went. Yesterday, I looked it over and had no temptation whatsoever to partake. I ate before I went, had my bottle of water and was perfectly happy to stay away. I'm more happy that theβ¦

I went to a grand reopening last night which meant there was LOTS of delicious food out. I had gone out to eat before arriving and wasn't hungry at all. In old days, I would still eat stuff because it looked so yummy, but last night, I ate one cherry and walked away. It felt so good to stay away! :)

My husband had been tracking his calories and hadn't told me he was trying to lose weight. Eventually, I told him he's looking good and he told me about mfp. Jeez, you would think he'd tell me sooner! Anyway, he stopped on here long ago and I'm only just (3 mos) coming back. But, I've lost 11 lbs so far - only 90ish to goβ¦

I am going on a cruise in September and have been giving it a lot of thought as to how I'll get some exercise in. I think walking will probably be my choice! It's going to be a huge ship, I can really get the lay of the land and a lot of steps in. :) Well done!

That's awesome! Good for you!! I've been overweight my entire life and have NEVER worn a bikini. I can't imagine doing so now, but I guess nothing's impossible. I'll just be glad if I can get into a normal weight range :) And yes, I'm so excited that I don't MIND exercising. It's all about mindset and this is a HUGE stepβ¦

It's not exactly "beginner" exercise, but it is for someone slightly older than myself. I do think I'll be able to move on, but I'm not looking for that bikini bod. I'm in my 40s, I wouldn't feel comfortable in a bikini anyway :) Primarily, I want to lose weight and build some strength. I still can't get through some ofβ¦

I've done a lot of Leslie Sansone and I like her a lot. I was having problems even getting through her videos. I would guess if I tried it now, it would be a whole lot easier.

I have given up quite a lot of bread products. My husband and I went to a nice Italian restaurant for our anniversary last week. Normally, I eat a LOT of the bread beforehand and finish my meal. This time, I had one slice of bread and took half home ;) I've considered trying the cauliflower rice but haven't gotten to itβ¦

I'm definitely doing both of those. Exercise everyday now and stay under calorie. Wish I had started sooner, but what can you do?

You look incredible and that's fantastic! I also have PCOS and I'm down almost 10 lbs since starting in April. It's quite a slog to get through. My doctor told me it would be near impossible. Well done!

Today, I got virtually no sleep. I'm competing in an online competition that is VERY intense and draining (both mentally and it takes a toll physically). So, I wasn't starting again until 2 today.
