QUOTE: Just keep in mind (based on your ticker) that you don't have much to lose, so the loss will still be pretty slow, but it should still happen. Been there myself. I figured it'd be slow, but as long as I see some movement downward I'll be happy.. it's alot better than staying the same! Did you lose the last 10 using…

I apologize, I read through all the posts and I see that you eat the same amount of calories even when you don't work out. I'm going to try toe 20%TDEE method and hopefully it works because this year long plateau is soooo frustrating! Thanks for the thread, it was really helpful information..

I did it at "light active" because I work out about 30 mins 5 days a week.. I just wanted to make sure I shouldn't eat those back and that I'm suppose to eat 1637 even on days that I don't work out?

I just started the TDEE method, which is 2046 Calories and 20% TDEE- 1637 Calories.. One question for all of you that found this successful.. are you eating this calorie amount and NOT eating calories back? so if I eat 1637 but burn 200-300 calories, still just eat that 1637? Thanks! (I've been in a weight loss plateau for…

Honestly I've thought about that before as well. As much as it's hard to lose weight I'm scared of maintenance too, b/c you'd think you wouldn't have to worry as much about what you eat and how much you need to exercise but you totally do. I love the feeling after a good workout and I won't stop doing that but still the…

I'll have to check out this article.. I have been stuck at 164 since July 15th & it is now November 7th.. I swear I've tried everything so I have nothing to lose.. I'll definitely try this!! Thanks!

So i upped my calories to 1550 because my BMR is around that so I'm hoping that like some of you said that'll get the scale moving again... CROSS YOUR FINGERS! :)
-
wow thats crazy, i can't believe you can lose weight by eating that much lol
-
That's awesome.. I guess I just always think if I eat that much I won't lose.... but were about the same weight right now (I'm 164) and I havent lost for 2 months so I guess it can't hurt to up my calories.. and if I start to gain i can always decrease I guess.
-
thanks I'll look into this.. I tried 1400 for a little over a week and nothing change.. so maybe if I keep it up the scale might move? I'm going to look into your link though, thanks!
-
then why do I say if I want to lose a lb a week, MFP sets me at 1420? Should I eat around 1600? i just NEED to kick this damn plateau!
-
I think I might up again.. I'm just afraid cuz my BMR is 1576 so if I go around 1600 won't i gain?
-
have you always been eating that many?! I know were friends on MFP so i know you have been very successful :)
-
looks like around 1490 is working for you.. have you always been eating this amount??
-
are you still losing with this amount?
-
I tried zig zagging and gained but only for a week so idk whether to keep trying or not.
