Thanks. A good pattern for me is 2 days weights (or in this case the ladders), one day core/cardio, repeat and then a day off, per week. I'm sure I can make it work like that. Thanks again.

I just started the 10 week program this weekend using the app and I have a few questions. I've done the first two work outs and I see the third automatically scheduled for the next day (today) and it's an exact repeat of the day 1 work out. Is that what I can expect from the app? Alternating between the two workouts…

I just bought the phone app and would like to start today after work.

I did it. I'm heavier than the last time I did and I haven't been running so I felt sluggish. But I completed it and I know it will get easier.

Today I plan to re-start C25K. Walking just isn't enough.

Yesterday I spent 2.5 hours shoveling, hauling and spreading mulch in my garden.

Hello, Just found and joined this group. I might be your oldest member - I'll be 57 in a couple of weeks.....whoever said they are concerned that this will only get harder as you get older is right! By the time you get past 50 you cannot get away with anything in terms of lax habits. If I lost 20 pounds in 75 days I'd be…

That's wonderful LIsa. I'm inspired to give c25k another try.

I love DLST - love the light in the evenings.

Did you find the group yet? If you go to Community and look at the menu banner across the top of the page under the tabs you will see Groups. Then you can find the Primal Life, tips from the cave...or something close to that. PEM is Primal Essential Movements. push up, pull up, squat, and plank. Overhead press is the…

I just finished reading the book....picked it up out of curiosity on sale for my Kindle. I am *very convinced. And if you start a group, where would that be found? I do not have the 21 day challenge book, just trying to follow the food choices on my own. I'm not a stranger to low carb, so much of this is comfortable for…

I've never been good at sports, so I've never really had fun doing them. But I do enjoy being outside. Running and biking provide that opportunity and good exercise too.

I had carpal tunnel when I was pregnant both times - excess water in my hands. It was *very annoying. I know a lot of people wear a wrist band to help them deal with the discomfort. Betsy

Hello, I would like to keep up with this group. I am 55, weigh about 150 and trying to lose about 20 pounds. 130 would be a comfortable weight for me...not as low as the good old days, but healthier and more comfortable than where I'm at now. Peri-menopause and hypothyroid has given me the metabolism of a rhino. The weight…

My thinking as well.....I eat back a portion and try to keep my net near 1200

It sounds like you might benefit from having another trainer...at least initially. When you think you are ready to go it alone, then start cutting back on trainer visits, or make a plan of when to stop. Stop using a trainer when it's *your* choice.

Count me in.

Agree - this is the best one I've found b/c it doesn't have such high carbs as others.

What are these green bags several people have mentioned?

I just looked into this myself, regarding lettuce. You separate all the leaves off the head, whether romaine or iceberg, wash in plain water, then dry (salad spinner is best)...then wrap the leaves in a paper towel or two and slip the whole thing into a gallon zip lock back so that the opening of the paper towel is at the…

My picture came with an email joke that was circulating many years ago. I saved it b/c I thought it was funny and just use it for places that call for a pic where I don't know anyone. Use it on my goodreads site too.

I don't have your time constraints but I hate a lot of prep time so maybe some of what I take will work. I usually pack my lunch with two snacks and a lunch in mind...if you don't have a break you could combine it all: 2 hard boiled eggs and mini low-sodium can of v-8 juice, pre-cut fruit and veggies in baggies, single…

I did do the 17-day diet, 30DayShred and C25K as well. It's a good combo of plans and worked for me....while I did it right. I've fallen off my game recently and am trying to get back to all three. Friend me if you like.
