  • Do not get overwhelemed with numbers, and what the Internet says. It will just keep your head spinning. Use common sense, and utilize MFP as a loose guideline for what YOU want to do. trust YOUR instincts, and do what YOU feel is right. Tweak what isnt working, and leave what is working alone. As others have said, make…
  • Its you versus second place. Clock is ticking, lets see what you got. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBLV6RG4TwY

  • I use Salsa, have for almost a year now! I do love Salsa, but the liquid portion of it is thin enough that it covers every bite, while the chunks are a good addition and spread well throughout. Depending on what brand you get, it is anywhere from 10 - 20 calories per 4 tablespoons.
  • Both of these are a little high on sugars, but can be a sufficient substitue every once in a while. Veggie Straws Flavored Mini Rice Cakes
  • This "Breaking Benjamin, So Cold" running compilation gets the motor going... I love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkbZmpdTuls
  • Coffee. I don't know what it is, but it is by far my BIGGEST craving throughout my lifestyle change of eating better, etc. And, I do not deprive myself of it either. I have a Large Dunkin Donuts Ice Coffee (skim & Splenda) every morning...
  • While doing my leg routine at the gym, I ended with 3 sets of jumping rope. For the first time that I can remember on my last set I continuously jumped rope 100 times without quiting out of boredom, or tripping up... :-)
  • Great work! Our ultimate goal starts one step at a time! No matter how big or small you may think they are!
  • www.skinnytaste.com I LOVE this site. I have made nearly 50 - 60 items off this site, and I have not had one fail me yet! Some of my favorites: Chicken Rolotini Corn Salsa Barbacoa Beef Shredded chicken (BBQ & Buffalo style). I make some plain too to make light chicken salad. Zuccini Boats Chicken Enchaladas
  • I never have and never will eat my excercise calories back. I would have NEVER lost 100 lbs. if I did. I would only consider eating some of them back if I were to get into a very serious training routine (P90X or Insanity type of program). Otherwise, the general cardio routine, and light weight training would never allow…
  • Set something up in front of your treadmill to "entertain" you, and keep your thoughts off how boring it may be... I've set up a video game system and TV in front of mine that plays DVD's too. I hardly use it, but it is at least there as an option. Or if you have a good cell phone, there are a number of options/apps you…
  • I've had so many ups & downs I lost track. I've been doing MFP for over a year now off and on, and only really became a dedicated user about 3 - 4 months ago while I was playing wiffle ball with my 3 year old son in the back yard. I started becoming winded just pitching the ball to him, and bending down to pick it up after…
  • I had the same concern until I looked into it more, and realized what everyone else is saying, there are a lot of foods that have Potassium in them that do not register on MFP. Not on the link above is a cup of strawberries has about 250, a cup of watermelon has about 225 too. Milk has 407 per cup, and I have only found 1…
  • I use a couple different kinds of Protien shakes. These ones are good. If you are really forcing yourself to have 5 small meals a day, these are a good replacement for one or two of those "meals". Don't stick to it being a true "meal" though if you are really hungry. Listen to your body. If you need a small snack bar or…
