  • Thank you for the suggestions! Do you have to pay for fitnessblender? I've never done any of the beach body stuff. Maybe that's next on my list. :)
  • Thank you for your responses, everyone! Sorry for the delay in mine -- I was out of town.
  • Thank you! I'll keep that in mind. It's just tough when all of a sudden it stops. And yes, that is not ever a really helpful post...
  • Thank you for all the posts of inspiration. It just feels a bit... unsatisfying, maybe? that after weeks and weeks of consistent weight loss, all of a sudden it seems to have stopped. I'll keep doing what I'm doing and try my best to be patient. :)
  • While I've only been a member since May, I've been working on my weight loss plan since January. The halt has been for about 2 weeks of staying at roughly the same weight every day. :( Is there any other tip than slightly reducing calorie intake? Does changing exercise planning work at all?
  • Thanks for all of the input! I'm basically trying to decide if I need a second day in a row or if I should just do it, and whether it would be more beneficial to take 2 days in a row or space them out...
  • Thanks, Steve! That sounds amazing. I'm going to have to put that on the menu in the next week or two. And I'm loving getting all these new sites. I made almond-crusted chicken tenders last week and they tasted (and looked) like the real thing, but only 174 cals per serving. (this obviously isn't vegan...) Canola oil…
  • yum! do you know if those end up pretty crispy? i feel like that is the most difficult part of mastering sweet potato fries.
  • whoops! thanks
  • Wow! That's amazing! I love seeing healthy transformations, and it makes me excited to one day have my own. :) CONGRATS!
  • I'm on it! I do both walking and running on it. I love it.
  • LOL at "shark week." I've never heard that one before!
  • i am constantly hungry around my TOM, so i do eat during that time. sometimes i will have a REALLY unsatisfying salad if i'm hungry. but i go for really a few squares of really dark chocolate with a serving of peanut butter (i'm usually craving things associated with protein). i know that if i don't eat if i feel hungry,…

  • So, if you are looking to start clean eating because you want to change your eating habits (i.e. eat natural foods, etc.), I started with a week long detox that basically jolted me into that direction. I still allow myself days where I can eat (in moderation) the things I love so I don't binge on them in a weak moment.…
  • what do you do with your fruit intake?

  • right, but you can be resistant to the insulin you put in your body. they make a synthetic version of insulin, which type I diabetics take. over time, you can develop resistance to this synthetic hormone.

  • ..or a doctor. i appreciate your concern, however this felt a bit aggressive without any sort of real point of interest. thank you for the information, but you list fruits as a no-no but not starches like pasta/bread? where are you getting the no fruit information?

  • I appreciate your input, but I have had type I for 20 years. I know that it is type I, and this is a new medication I am doing. Insulin resistance can naturally happen over time to diabetics, so I was curious to see if any other diabetics had been through something similar. I'm interested in seeing how this has worked in…
