  • You look fantastic! What a great inspiration!
  • I'd rather be hanging out with my husband. Unfortunately, we're both sick and have been hibernating in separate rooms as we hack our lungs out. We're both in our own little worlds of yuckiness, kleenex, and misery. In my fantasy, it's a week from now, we're both recovered, and we're sitting on the couch laughing about…
  • I am usually surprised by the amount of calories in food. Either it's way more or way less than I think it should be lol. I guess I never really thought about it. A lot of times, you can Google the name of the restaurant and use the nutritional information they post on their website. If you can't find that, then just use…
  • I keep healthy snacks in the car for situations just like that. Sometimes I don't have time to plan ahead, or things get crazy, so I just get into my bag of goodies and that helps me avoid drive-thrus or overdoing it when I get home. Just put some stuff in the back seat and leave it there.
  • I retain a LOT of water during that time, so I always weigh more. I try not to get on the scale during that week, it's just depressing. A couple days later, though, everything goes back to normal.
  • Black Eyed Peas. Even if you're not normally into their music, their beats and upbeat tempo really get you going. You can't stop yourself from moving when you hear songs like "Pump It". They're great for the gym.
  • You are doing great! Don't get discouraged, some weeks are just slow. Then, out of nowhere, you start losing again. You look fantastic! I can really tell a difference in your face and middle. Your waist has really become defined. I liked that you wore the same top so that it's easy to compare the before and after. I'm…
  • This site has helped me more than anything else I've ever tried. By being honest about what you eat and recording it in your food journal, you think twice about putting it in your mouth. It really takes all the guesswork out of dieting, too. You know exactly how many calories you're eating and can keep track of your…
  • Between Goodwill and Walmart, you should be able to find a couple pieces to hold you over until you lose more. I know it sucks, I'm going through that right now, too. I found a really cute pair of DKNY jeans at Goodwill for $6, though. It's a pain to search through everything, but it's a double bonus to buy a smaller size…
  • I'm in! It'll be fun to have a bunch of people all in it together :)
  • Just make sure you're not going too far under the amount of calories that they give you each day. They have already figured out how many you can have and still lose your desired weight each week. You don't have to go under that. They make it easy for you :)
  • Thanks for the tip! I'll look for that next time I go to the store :)
  • I know that you can adjust your calories based on the amount of exercise you do. Well, it does it automatically, anyway. Do you mean, when you exercise and it bumps the calories for just that day or in general? There are some people that say you shouldn't eat the calories you burned that day--you shouldn't take them into…
  • I'm in the same boat. I feel huge and all I want to do is eat. I've been trying to snack on healthy things. Pistachios are good for something salty--they are VERY low in calories and fresh pineapple is good for something sweet. It, too, is low in calories. I did kind of indulge and have a Fiber Plus bar. Or two. I love the…
  • Slim Quick makes a pill that you take as a 7 day cleansing cycle. It's supposed to clean you out, get rid of toxins, jumpstart your diet, blah, blah, blah. Basically, you will poo a lot and it gets rid of all the build up, but without the scary hose. I read somewhere that most people have POUNDS of poo inside of them. This…
  • Any kind of bars--granola, fruit, cereal. Even the so-called "good for you" type is bad, because I can't stop eating them. By the way, if you were wanting one of the FiberPlus bars, you should stop and pick up another box at the grocery :)
  • Good luck! This is a really good site. My problem was just that I didn't stick with it. I intend to do better this time. Hang in there and don't give up. It's going to be great!
  • Hi! When I used this in the past, I had a lot of success. Unfortunately, I got lazy--about logging in, exercising, and preparing healthy meals. I'm back and I'm ready to do this. I'll totally be part of your support system. It's a great program and I think you're really going to like it. : )
