I am lucky enough to put in a DVD or watch something streaming from netflix every time I get on my treadmill. It makes an hour go by super fast and I can catch up on my "have to see" movie list.

Without trying to sound like a preacher... Set your goals realistically. Go for 10 lbs a month from here to eternity.... until you have reached your ultimate goal. That is where I started and over 5 months I have been able to beat the 10 lbs easily. Setting yourself up for success makes it easier to succeed.

People that skip the yolks, like me.... won't have to take Lipitor any longer either. While I appreciate your point of view, I am not overreacting to my own circumstance by cheating myself of egg yolks.

And the reason you retain water is because the muscles need it to repair themselves. So if you have a very hard workout, you may notice a gain. But, it is not a sudden increase of muscle density.

It can also motivate you to eat better and make better choices if you see the numbers going up. In either case, it can be addictive.

mine is in my garage and I have used it religiously since I started in April, but I can see how it may be hard to get outdoors during the cold months. That being said, stay away from the bad air in the basement. You will be opening yourself up to other potentially risky health issues.
