Drink a ton of water. Walking to and from the bathroom should burn lots of calories. I am in the same situation. Wake up early in the AM and get a good workout in before you start your day. That will keep your metabolism working all day.

I cut down a year ago because of high cholesterol. I love Silk milk with my cereal. But have to admit Half & Half in my coffee tastes sooooo good.

32:43 in my first outside 5K on Thanksgiving weekend. It was so much fun I am signing up for 1 per month April through November. I am also a treadmill runner and found the experience of running with a group and in a competition made me run harder than usual.

I read somewhere when I started that if you eat before you workout the body focuses on breaking down the food and not on your calorie burn. That being said, I tend to not eat before. It has worked for me for quite sometime. Whichever you decide, make it a habit to workout !!!

If you can get through the first week, your body will get used to the lack of "over indulgence". The more junk you put in, the more it craves. Let your body get used to eating healthy and the cravings will stop.

I am from NYC. I don't find this offensive.... However: Why put a city on a can of soda? Why tall buildings and a plane? Someone made a pretty serious mistake in letting something that controversial go to publication.

PB is better for you. Considering it's a natural one like Maple Grove. Nutella is a nice treat on occasion. Cashew butter is unrealistically delicious !!! Although expensive.

I'm pretty sure you should not be switching to egg yolks. My cholesterol went from 195 (bad cholesterol only) to 72 just from tracking what I eat. I substituted soy milk for whole and 2% in everything including my coffee. 2 Egg whites and 1 whole egg instead of 3 whole eggs. Also, switched to smart balance butter instead…

My guy is 4, he eats chicken nuggets, pasta, rice, fish sticks and anything sugary. He actually loves fruits. Try the fruits in cups.

Get stupid drunk every night..... go to a bar and find the most repulsive man you can. Always end up back at this persons place for the night. You will find getting the hell out of bed, up, dressed and out of the house so fast in the AM.....

Be careful with the Greek salad. It appears awesome but the olives and feta cheese will bring your calorie intake up high quick. Also avoid the pita's you will get on the side. Salad with grilled chicken and vinagrette dressing on the side will be your best bet.

It's all about finishing the marathon. Take as long as you need, but finish it.... This marathon, much like all of our journeys, is not a race against time. It is a slow and steady pace. If you stay focused you will reach your goals !!!!!

Yes, the heavier you are the more calories you burn through combustion than a lighter person. So in theory a lighter person would have to work harder to burn the same amount of calories. You want to eat Whole grains as opposed to whole wheat because the grains make the body work harder to break them down. Thus, processing the sugars at a slower rate than the whole wheat flour.
