Them: Hey, we're getting McDs for breakfast, what do you want? Me: Just a large black coffee. It's my fast day. Them: (Upon returning) Here, I got you an Egg McMuffin. I figured you'd be hungry since you're fasting. Me: :|

Potatoes. I seriously have a love affair with these things, lol! The good thing is I can make a medium sized baker fit in my day, every day. My second food love is either a fine, aged beef filet with bearnaise sauce or a big, juicy ribeye with a lovely cabernet demi glace. Oh, with a glorious potato mash on the side, lol.…

Toilet paper :p Anything else can be improvised. Also, Greek yogurt, milk, my favorite multigrain bread, peanut butter, frozen veggies in steam bags, and potatoes. I eat those things every single day. Everything else on my list varies by what's on sale, availability, and what the rest of the household wants.

Ooh, me! Me! I'd love the recipe! I love posole! It IS the best soup ever! There's a casino buffet I love to go to, and I gladly pay $7.99 just to fill up on posole and fried plantains (the rest of the buffet sucks, hence the bargain basement price lol)..

How many carbs is low for you? I love making a big batch of chili, as it freezes really well. I make mine with three kinds of beans, lean ground turkey, diced tomatoes, and whatever veggies I have (onion, celery, bell pepper, carrots, etc.). I keep it low sodium by using no salt added versions of the canned goods, and…

Cheers! I'm the same. If I'm out and about, in need of a coffee break, I much prefer McDonald's coffee over SBux any day. It's a perfect, classic coffee, IMHO. And only $1.

Anywhere from 0-500 calories daily for beverages. My average is about 150 daily. Mostly milk (yay! Calcium and some protein). Sometimes a little alcoholic indulgence. Other than that, I drink nearly no juice or sugary drinks, as I don't care for them.

Non-scale goals met for week of Aug 28-Sep 3: Strength trained twice this week and logged all food. Bonus victory: Hubby likes doughnuts on Sat mornings, and he picked up MINI crullers. I can totally fit this 200 calorie miniature delight into my food goals! And I'm stopping at one <3 SW: 161lbs CW: 142.6lb (as of Sep 1)…

Love the clickbait title ;) Awesome, isn't it? Our family lives very modestly, and eating within our means (health wise) equates to living within our means money wise. I am passionate about both frugal living and developing healthy ways of eating. They really do go hand in hand. Glad you've had the same epiphany. <3

I'm here for another month of accountability! My non-scale goals for the month are to log food as accurately and honestly as I can, and to complete at least two strength training workouts per week. I have the Charge HR, also. I've had the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S6 with it (I assume S5 would work, too). Also, if you're keen on LG, my kids have the LG2 (it's an older model, so price would be good for you), and the Fitbit app is available for it, too, so I assume it's compatible. Like others have said, just make sure…

No, there's not. If you look at her blog, she claims 18lb LBM increase in one year. That is highly unlikely, I agree. But I don't doubt she's around 135/140 in that last pic. Or, at the least, that aesthetic can occur in that weight range for that height.

She's 5'7". Same as me. Not exactly short. And I looked strikingly similar to her when I cut to 135lb. I'd say possible.

Next to zero. A few years ago, I bought some bodyweight exercise books (used, for about $5), a suspension trainer ($50), pull up bar ($20), a used dip station ($30), and a Fitbit ($150, but it was a gift from my husband). I workout from home or at parks; no recurring fees (I don't wear special workout clothes or shoes).…

That's what I gather from this. Plus some reverse dieting to find his TDEE is higher than he thought. Which, according to OPs numbers of 5 days at 3k, 2 days at 5k, is an average of 3500-3600. Not an unusual number for a training male. Not seeing anything groundbreaking here, other than OP discovering what level of fuel…

Well, if you peek at the link zyxst posted, apparently it's where you track down and kill wild cows with your bare hands and eat it raw, slathered in Kerrygold butter. Then punching yourself in the gut while ripping legs off live chickens. One of those reads that I'm left thinking, "not sure if serious or just seriously…

I was just about to suggest this. You know, for, like, science.

So, it went from 83F to 100F in less than 40 minutes this morning (Las Vegas-aka the half way point between then earth and the sun). There were young men, old men, fit and fat alike, stripping off their shirts during morning jogs today. And one cyclist in a weener beekeener, but a long sleeve sweater, lol. It never…
