            Non-scale goals met for week of Aug 28-Sep 3: Strength trained twice this week and logged all food. Bonus victory: Hubby likes doughnuts on Sat mornings, and he picked up MINI crullers. I can totally fit this 200 calorie miniature delight into my food goals! And I'm stopping at one

            I'm a newbie, but I'm in too. I need the check in.
 SW = CW: 302lbs. (I started 1st September)
 GW: 250lbs for starters.
 Goals this month: Get my daily steps up to 10,000, no matter the weather. Track food EVERY day (especially the tough ones) as accurately as possible. Go to the gym twice a week, every week. Stay positive.

            You are a wonderful motivator joans1976! I agree with what you said about the group. I didn't realize it would be as helpful as it is. It also makes me set a realistic healthy and reasonable goal as well. I would set up larger goals before and then get depressed and throw in the towel when I couldn't do it. 5 lbs is perfect.

 Challenges: staying away from the goodies in the work lunch room, haha. I had a bagel and a half which was 500 calories (holy moly!). But I budgeted the calories and realized it was ok to treat myself once in awhile. Labor Day weekend is tough with parties and amazing food. I went to one yesterday and was able to take small portions, with a bigger salad portion and enjoy it all. This is a big step because I typically eat wayyyyy too much at parties and go up for 2nd and 3rds.1

 Welcome everybody to September group. Welcome to everybody who is new to this group I am so happy you can join us and welcome back to everybody who was here last month. So the summer holidays have ended and children are going back to school and it going to start getting colder but we should not let's us get us down. Last month I had a few ups and down including put a bit a weight on after my birthday but I know that was going to happen so I didn't let it get me down.5
