Chicken wings and nachos with pork rinds instead of chips. That's about it.

Yeah, I amend my previous comment that no one says squat. At least people IRL don't, because they mostly really don't care, just as I don't care what anyone else eats. People on the internet apparently care. A lot. About THEIR opinions.

I guarantee whatever you are ordering isn't the weirdest order. I order plain meat, no veggies or condiments (I'm carnivore) all the time. I order clearly, kindly, and without apology or explanation of my WOE. I've only had pleasant restaurant experiences.

Just from my MIL. Nobody else bats an eye or cares, to my knowledge. I also don't advertise or discuss my dietary preferences, I just eat.

1 Jan: 137.6lbs 11 Jan: 133.6lbs 18 Jan: 134.8lbs Today: 134.8lbs I said I was going to maintain for a while, here it is. Surprising, as I've had a terribly stressful week and turned to carbs twice (family member at end of life :'( ). It will get worse before it gets better (the end) for her, so it's important to work…

Omg! Thesr are scarily accurate. My husband is ESTJ. The description of hell is so true. And it's his mother :'( As an ISTJ/INTJ, I feel very similarly. It's hell living with her.
-
Here I am, another ISTJ. Sort of. I've taken the Meyers Briggs test a few times over the years. I alternate between ISTJ and INTJ, which I feel is a good representation of me. Depending on the situation, I am fully capable of using intuition and observation (sensing) skills together needed.

Agreed. I've drunk just the broth and gave the noodles to my child (which is the only part he wants anyway, lol). I don't stress out one bit about the teensy bit of carb I may ingest. Enjoy!

Most foods (whole, natural state foods included) have more sodium than soda.
-
Here's some more "scary" sodium containing foods: 1 celery stalk: 30mg sodium 30g spinach (1 cup chopped): 24mg sodium 67g kale (1 cup chopped): 25mg sodium

That reminds me of another. I learned how to make my own marinara. Not even difficult, and so good. I will never buy jarred sauce again. I still buy pre-made pasta, I'm not into making my own, yet.
-
I can't roast a chicken. At all. It always turns out terrible. I buy hot rotisserie chickens from the deli. Worth the extra expense. I make my own dressings (mayo, vinaigrettes, and ranch). Worth the time and effort. Actually, it's pretty simple with a stick/immersion blender.

You could just batch cook a whole bunch of them. Egg muffins in baked in muffin tins in the oven is super easy. The same amount of prep compared to eating raw (crack eggs). Or hard boil them. Make a dozen or more of them at a time with either method; they store in the fridge for days. Or microwave your eggs in a mug or…

Average for me is 5g/day. I'm carnivore, so those carbs are from cheese, cream, and eggs. And sometimes processed meats (sausage, hot dogs, etc.) They like to put a little filler crap in those things, but I eat them moderately.)
-
There. IFIFY :p

This. Too much would be a number like 400+ g protein maybe. On a consistent and daily basis. For reference, that would take 3+lbs of chicken breasts or 5+lbs of beef pot (chuck) roast. Nobody is going to deliberately choose (or be able) to consume that meat mountain daily. Well, not the average (sane) person.
-
Dude, that's some bacon awesomeness!! The most I do is about 1/4 lb a day, or else is too salty for me. But I know plenty of folks eat 1lb easily in a day.
-
I'm REALLY good at gaining weight by not counting :D Seriously, I have had times that I didn't log and practiced mindful portions and moderation. It worked to lose 3-5 lbs over 3 months. Success! But I still spot checked by logging a day every week. Then I got greedy, lazy, etc. I'm now approaching my goal weight range,…

Yes! Definitely use hard boiled. I'm carnivore, so I just smoosh ground beef or pork around the eggs, and bake in a muffin pan. I'm sure some lovely spices (garlic, minced onions, etc) can be added to the meat. Oh, and a raw egg in the meat to help it hold together.
-
Scotch eggs. Meat makes everything better ;)

My vote is for "Gaining weight and Bulking." Or just Gaining Weight, like it used to be. We all know what that meant.
-
Wait? That's a thing??! None for me (ok, just a little). I'm a pansy, #foreverRecomp.

The first time I ate out with friends, I thought they'd side-eye me (SoCal-ers, heavy on the veggie lifestyle). I ate two med rare, half pound burgers with bacon. They didn't bat an eye. Actually, they thought my meal looked sexy as heck, lol. Meat envy! >:) As far as dairy, you'll have to experiment. Dairy or not, my…

Oh, and FYI for toilet issues: Generally speaking, the first few weeks things are going to be all over the place, BM wise, due to adaptation. As you progress, you may go only a few times a week. If it's not painful or bloated, it's not constipation. But if it is, focus on more fatty meats or a little extra butter. If…

Great success on dining out, @Kirstie155 ! I've been ZC almost 3 months now, and I am finding eating out quite easy. Unless it's a vegetarian restaurant, every place will gladly serve up some plain meat, no questions asked. BBQ and burger houses are my favorite. Dry rub ribs, brisket, smoked sausage, burger patties with…

Since I was 22, I've been 5'6" exactly, or so I thought. After the birth of my last child (age 33, 7 years ago), I measured 5'6.5" (solidly between 5.6 and 5.7). For curiosity I measured myself today; 5'7". :o I don't know why, late growth spurt? Nah, probably posture improvement. FTR, the same Stanley tape measure took…

1 Jan: 137.6lbs 11 Jan: 133.6lbs 18 Jan: 134.8lbs Not surprising, as I've upped my intake. I'm eating very close to maintenance. I keep wavering between wanting to lose 5lbs and staying here. It must mean I'm generally happy with where am at. I'll just park it here for awhile :p to

Your macros add up to 1926 calories. Even at 1900, if your total calories burned is 3000, that's a mighty steep deficit.
-
That's no where near "too much." Now, if you'd have said something huge, like 300+g (which would take massive quantities/calories of food to get to that number), then I'd say time to reign that in.
