Yes. I'm a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding next month. The maids range in age from 13-50+, from less than 5ft-5'7, slender to very full figured and busty. My thoughtful future SIL chose different styles to flatter our very different bodies and ages. OP, they chose YOU, just as you are, beautiful tattoos and gorgeous…

Don't set yourself up for failure by setting an impossible time frame There's 77 days until June 1. To lose 50lbs in that time, you'd have to eat 2272 calories per day LESS than you need to maintain your weight. Assuming an average young woman needs around 2000-2500 calories per day, you'd have to eat nothing. Won't…

Could be. I'm female, smaller than OP, and similarly active. I can lose on 1900. I was eating ~1700 for 2 months, but I got too fatigued. I'd rather eat more and lose more slowly, while fueling my activity properly. OP, if you're sure a 2400 goal is right for you, go ahead and give it a go for a good 4-6 weeks, reassess as…

Yes. Turn off the "all day sync" in the Fitbit app. Saves your phone juice. I keep the Bluetooth turned off, too, until I need it. Just manually sync once a day (or when you're plugged in).

Yep, pretty much. If you want to track it for data's sake, I'd think planks would fall under calisthenics, home, light/moderate. ETA: Just for fun, I logged 2 min of calisthenics. 7 calories for me. Definitely not a calorie burner, but good for building core strength.

Only if there's pickled herring. Or it's served buttered along side a pile of fresh caught beer battered lake perch (I'm a Midwest, Catholic girl. Can you tell?). Otherwise, no. Rye bread is not better than anything.

Yaasss! I eat potatoes almost every day. Good ol' baked Idaho russet Burbanks. I rub them with a little oil and salt before baking (no foil wrapping them). The skin gets so golden brown and crispy, and the center so fluffy. Sigh... 3 more hours until dinner, lol. Can't wait.

I guess I have very different friendship dynamics. This would my imagined conversation: Me: Hey, I'm starting C25K (or whatevs), so my program is now run/walking MWF. Tues and and Thurs I'll be just walking for lunch. You want in? Or we can just do our things and meet back at the water cooler. Them: Sounds cool. I'll have…

When I got close to goal, I noticed that MFP would set me to 1650 to maintain (sedentary, which I was, outside of purposeful exercise). I wasn't discouraged by that. Rather, it made me determined to make it a habit to be more active in general, because I want to eat in the 2000-2200 range. 10,000+ steps daily plus thrice…

Steel cut oats w/ PB and blueberries, glass of milk, and coffee w/ cream. 432 cals, 53gC, 13gF, 21gP. Breakfast is my lightest meal of the day.

37-28-38.5 here. And my hip measurement is "all butt." I have slim hips. I look like a straight column shape from the front, all booty from the rear. I worked hard to build my back and shoulders to create an hourglass, more balanced (for my body) shape.

Nope, I do not do cardio to create a larger deficit. I do cardio for cardiovascular health. That's its primary purpose (it's in the name). Undereating and overtraining (what you are suggesting) is a recipe for fatigue and injury at best, dangerous at worst. ETA: I'm another special snowflake who eats their exercise…

So, your daily intake is only 1400ish? Gotta eat more than that to fuel the training, imho.
-
Yep. Even if you're not too close, some state universities offer guest/public access to their online databases for state residents. Call or email the librarian at your closest preferred uni. They will gladly help find what your looking for.

No. Pick an established program. Do it. Make progress. You can't progress if you keep switching things.

How many grams of protein is your 30%? I ask because I average about 25% of calories from protein which works out to be ~125g. Which is more than ample for my needs (145lbs, 25%bf). 1g/lb of LBM is plenty for those actively building or aiming to retain muscle in conjuction with a lifting program.

Yep to the bolded. I've been lean in the thighs, bigger in the thighs, measured "exactly" in the waist and hips according to the designer's size chart, been "too" curvy, and not curvy enough throughout my years. Every stinkin' pair of jeans and trousers I've owned has required tailoring. Buy the pants that fit your largest…

I have mid back length hair, too. And it's heavy, so a simple high pony will just slide down my head. Braids!!! I braid a high pony and do the loop trick. I have also been known to just wear a doo rag over a simple bun. It's an ugly look on me, lol, but I'm working out to work out.

You can drink more calories to meet your goal, too. Doesn't have to be just food. Whole milk, juice, etc.

I love it made in my French press. I don't care for it in my auto drip, though. Haven't found the right grind/amount ratio for it yet.

Lol. I forgot this song. Hilarious. Thanks for the earworm :p

Absolutely! A couple times a week. Had 1/2 a McMuffin and pizza yesterday (ahem, a lot of pizza, but I got a thin crust so it's like "diet" food, ;) ). Split a funnel cake with my kids at the carnival today. Oh, and a Quarter Pounder the other day. Okay, maybe more than a couple times. But, my weekly goals are met,…

I'm on a 0.5lb/week weight loss, so taking the weekend off would definitely wipe out my deficit. But, I do indulge often. I'll save a few calories during the week (say, 100 per day), then I have enough for a moderate, planned overage. I still have to be moderate and thoughtful in my choices (no, I may not have all the…

They do here, too. And only $1. The brewed coffee is a great classic taste. Their McCafe stuff? Not so good.

1. Cottage cheese 2. Cheesecake I like cheese :D I'm in my cut now, but I can still dream about my next bulk, lol.

I believe just iPhone. Libra if you're looking for an Android app.
-
I use a trending app, too (Libra). I enter new low weights only into MFP. Or, if I'm gaining too much from that low (the trend shows I'm gaining), I suck it up and enter the higher weight.
-
The good thing is, you've given yourself more than a year to do this, so you can do the slow and sustainable weight loss plan. Start NOW, not March 2017. You've got 68 weeks. Set MFP to a modest 0.5lb/week goal. Eat that goal. Succeed without punishing yourself :)

6 chicken legs are much, much more than 143 calories and certainly not 600g of carbs.

I hope the bride had no bad intent in getting a dress way too small for you. What she wants and what is reality may be two different things. I'm not saying impossible, just saying it's better to buy a dress that fits, instead of trying to fit into something you are not. This. I am a strong believer in picking a gown that…
