  • Lets see... I am grateful that I have a great job(even though I hate it sometimes). I am grateful that the weather has held out and the rain finally stopped. I am grateful for my friends and family who are amazing. I have to say I love ths thread. Im usually a negative person but this makes me think positive which is…
  • I like dark chocolate. The higher the % of cocoa in it the better. I usually go for the Lindt 80% chocolate bar and just eat one section. It's just enough of a taste and it curbs the craving.
  • I'm a store manager for a national retail pharmacy chain. I work any where from 10 to 12 hours a day and spend a lot of time on my feet. Dealing with peoples lives is an extremely stressful job. Most days all I want to do is come home and veg on the couch and block it all out with rocky road ice cream, but alas that is how…
  • Welcome to MFP. I have been here about a month and absolutely love it. Congrats on the brave decision and good luck. I will add you.
  • I'm 36 and still single. All of my friends are married, engaged, living together or dating so I sometimes feel like the 3rd wheel. Then I get a phone call and someones upset because they just had a horrible fight or they want to go out and can't because their significant other won't let them. That's when I raise my hands…
  • Technically its Sunday here, its 1:45 am so yes its Sunday. So here's my story. I am 36 but will be 37 in one week. I started this journry in Jan of this year but didn't find MFP until april. I started at 283 lbs. I have to say I cried that day. I stepped on the scale and literally cried. I couldn't believe I had let it…
  • 21 lbs is awesome. Keep it up. And a reward doesn't even have to cost money. It could be something simple like making time to do something you really enjoy but never have time to do. For me its read or watch a movie.
  • I've been thinking about this since I posted it yesterday. I have 13 lbs to go until I will have lost 50. That's huge for me so I want to do something special. I think I might treat myself to a full on spa day. Massage, facial, the whole 9 yards.
  • Lol! I just feel like there should be a little extra incentive to make you world that much harder. Losing weight and being healthy is ultimately the best reward but if you give yourself that something extra it seems to make it a little easier to push yourself.
  • . Congrats on both the wieght loss and law school. Vegas would be a great reward. Have fun:)
  • Ok so this might sound stupid but what does NSV mean? I have seen it all over the site but have no idea what it is.

  • I am an avid reader. Have been all my life. I have to agree with you on the part about just loving the feel of a book. There's just something about the way it makes you feel. I got my love of reading from my mom. From the time I was a baby she read to me every night until I was able to read on my own. I was about 5 when I…
  • I just joined today and already there is so much support and encouragement. You are going to love it.
  • I have five and don't regret any of them. As a matter of fact I am in the process of getting another one. All of mine are easily covered. I have 1 on the inside of my ankle, my chest, my shoulder blade, the back of my neck and my thigh. They can be shown off if I want to or hidden for work.
