I just bought a few pairs of pants that are tight but wearable. That way it's not a total waste of money because I can still wear them, but it's motivational because I want them to fit better! I also do have a pair of jeans that are 2 sizes too small and those are definitely motivating!

Basically just slow down. Also when I was training for my 10k and half marathon I would run 3x a week and just add 1/2 a mile or 1/4 mile each time. For longer distances I would do 2 short runs and 1 long run per week, adding 1/2 a mile to your long run each time.

Ask him if he wants to hang out sometime? Then I try to get to know him, see where it goes. If I feel like he likes he back I would tell him. If I'm not sure, I usually let him take the lead. I've never really had a situation where I couldn't figure out if a guy liked me but if I really wanted to know I would just ask him.
