Thanks Theada: I find it strange because I was eating at least half the amount before the surgery and feeling full and satisfied. Now it seems like I am an endless pit. I will have to be more conscientious of things.

Hmmm, definitely be interested in the responses.

Shea you are knocking it out of the park! You are doing great, keep it up! :)

Well said everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA for some time now. Thaeda, Rob and Pat you are my inspiration and I greatly appreciate all your support, kind words and sharing. Great post!
-
Shea, you look Fab..tastic girl! Keep up the great job, you will be at goal in no time! :))
-
Thanks Thaeda and Rob, but for a change this is not emotional. I truly just don't feel hungry.
-
Thanks 5BeatifulDays. I was thinking of it being a mental issue, never dawned on me it could be physiological. Makes sense.
-
That is awesome, doing the happy dance for you! :))

Manogpickle> What is that formula you are using? I also concur with Thaeda!

Wrong Rob!! I read every word. :D Well said dear sir! You have done an amazing job, not just the weight loss, but the painful and difficult things that brought you success. The awareness and acceptance of your strengths and weakness. I so wished I would have had half the information that you just posted, I could maybe have…

sorry didn't get it to quote correctly.

Wow. Thanks much for the affirmation and for sharing your experience as well. It takes courage to be vulnerable. Good for you for allowing yourself to feel your feelings-- amazing what can come up when that happens. I am still working on identifying what it is I am feeling and learning to "sit with it". Challenges…

I gained back 50lb, and have lost that 50 and almost another 50 on top of that all since joining MFP a year ago come June. I am proof that it can be done, but you are going to have to do the work. We can't do it for you. I felt the same way, pissed of some people because frankly I needed to put ME first. Simple as that,…

I second Rob, please let us know your take one it!

Also think about low blood sugars. I now have that problem and must eat something small every 2-3 hrs. If I don't I end up feeling light headed and weak, I thought it was my BP. Good luck and please don't leave it, call the doc.

First off Thaeda thank you for your post. You are open and honest and that is the most important thing. I applaud you for stopping yourself and going to bed. I on the other hand, when I hit that red line point the only thing that stops me is being over full and vomiting afterwards. You have done an amazing job and we are…

Mangopickle. I like to think that the switch as been flipped in that regards for me. Weather or not it stay on, well time will tell as will my mind set toward it.

jove102> I have a Rottweiler and she is fat enough with my husband letting her have a taste of everything. Mind you the neighbour's dog is looking a little under nourished. :)
-
PaulaKro> Good thought, I love my fruit, so that is not an issue as I am aware. I have no misconception about fat and don't even bother tracking it. Thou I totally agree that my body is hinting about something. Now I just have to figure out the code. :)

Cool!

Great post, loved the feedback Thanks! ( looking to purchase one in the next few wks)

Thanks for the sharing! :))

Living It as we speak. My new confidence and self worth have made me into a B**ch who is selfish and only cares about herself. Funny I don't remember hearing those words when I sacrificed everything including my health and identity. Hmm makes you think, that is for sure. Good post!

I like to challenge myself as well with my workout. It was just the food aspect, all the focus on it. Like others have stated, the focus as changed directions but it is still all consuming sometimes. Thanks everyone, greatly appreciated!
-
Wow, when you put it that way it sounds kind of sad, sorry to say. I appreciate the openness!

Don't panic James. We are all different. My friend said she had the same issues. It maybe just head hunger like you said. I found that once I was able to have some nutrients that I could actually chew and had flavour things settled down. Stay the course my friend, there will be many trial and tribulations.

Welcome Colin, sounds like you have done a bang up job thus far. I love MFP and the peeps on here. I know I couldn't have had as much success as I have without this site. All the best on your new lifestyle changes. P.S. Please keep you weather up there. :)
