Hi, I'm female age 58, not quite a senior. I started with my journey and MFP on May 28th weighing in at 400 pounds. I've lost a few pounds with food changes only. Exercise was put off a bit, just getting around the house and walking is a challenge but I'll get there. I don't have children or grandchildren to talk about but…

I understand. I started my journey on May 28th and have a very long journey ahead of me. Take 1 day at a time. Start by logging your food, even if its a bad day. Weigh once a week and check-in. It helps for me to be accountable. You can do this! One step at a time.

How much did you buy? How many slices were there? If you bought a pound of turkey, then 2 ounces would be 1/8 of the package

Think in terms of "One Day At A Time". You can do 1 Day, and another, and another.......and another.........

I'm nearly 400 pounds and volunteer at a local Food Pantry, handing out food to people who so desperately need it. Imagine being me, eating myself to 400 pounds while others are hungry.

I slice in half lengthwise, spray on Pam and put a small amount of parmesan cheese on top. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees and then broil a few minutes to brown and toast up the parmesan cheese.

I've been on MFP for less than a month, and yes I have gone over my calorie limit more than once. It happens. Drink lots of water and fill up on raw fruits and vegetables. You can do this :-)
