I have a Fitbit Charge HR as well as the Fitbit Aria. TrendWeight looks interesting I'll take a look at it tomorrow. The reason I weigh myself once a week is because daily movements are meaningless. But if this software has an algorithm that can analyse it into something meaningful I would definitely be interested.

I should point out that I'll logging my food accurately using MFP by weighing. I wasn't actually looking at % body fat from Fitbit or anything else in Fitbit too much. I was looking at my net mass lost which was confirmed by a different set of scales and also the decrease in my waist measurement using a tape measure. Also…

End of month weigh in = 142.6kg. End of month target = 145kg. Target beaten by 2.4kg. Feeling totally motivated for February!
-
OP you are similar to me. I'm currently 145kg and need to lose 60kg. My daily calorific intake is ~ 1800 cals. I do a 3 hour workout every weekday in the gym. My weight loss goal is 0.75kg to 1kg per week. As others have stated I think your weight loss goal is unachievable and unhealthy. I actually write on my calendar my…

I am now weighing my food with a food scales and logging with MFP.

I was considering making a change with more impact than changing the brand of banana. I'm still not losing weight at my desired rate (0.75kg to 1kg per week). Problem is I already feel fatigued in the evenings but I think this is because I'm not getting enough sleep. I think I'd struggle with a daily intake of 1500 cals…

I've started weighing and logging my food with MFP. Love that MFP and FitBit sync Food logs / exercise with Fitbit. I've made my food diary public if anyone wishes to comment: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/BreederUK

I'm on Fitbit. Don't want to post my email but if you're interested send me a PM and I'll reply with it.

I often get complimented on my handwriting - thank you for your kind words. Disagree on overdoing it. I feel fine. I've been going for 14-16mile bike rides late at night. Its freezing cold and often raining but I'm loving it. I'm burning around 1500cals each ride according to my HRM.

No its just a random nick. Breeder happens to be the name of a band I like.

Starting to see some weight loss:
-
I set an end of month weight goal at the start of the month. Generally its a 5kg loss. I generally achieve my goal sometimes by 1-2kg. It helps keep me motivated.

I'm from UK please add me.
-
I'm currently 149kg (328 pounds) and my goal weight is 90kg (198 pounds)
-
I'm in also: CW: 149.3kg UGW: 90kg My objective is 5kg per month.

Friday is weigh day. Lost 2.8kg this week. I bought a new Giant hybrid cycle. I read that cycling is HIT. I'm going to start going for bike rides every weekend morning.
-
I enjoy exercising for 2.5 hours every weekday. I want to add to my current workout routine. I think I need to do 30 minutes more strength training.
-
The calorific expenditure is what I'm burning in the gym every weekday according to my Polar heart rate monitor.

I've identified there were hidden calories in my food diary. The marinade I had been using on my chicken is 400cals. I've now switched to a dry spice rub which is neglible calories. I'm wondering if I've really gained muscle and lost fat as according to Fitbit. I'm going to increase my cardio by using the incline treadmill…

No I'm definitely not fitter than before. I'm 156kg and previously I was around 120kg on the previous heart rate charts. I'm definitely going to start weighing my food.
-
I would like to point out that I actually really enjoy going to the gym. Its a pleasure not a chore. I'm applying for jobs in March so I need to lose weight for my job interviews. I'm currently studying towards my accountancy exams full time and the gym is helping stay concentrated. Thanks for all the advice and support…

No I'm not weighing foods they are estimates based on uniform portion sizes. Clearly, I'm underestimating my calorific intake. Will investigate food scales.
-
Okay this is an extract for my food diary. Its a typical day: I'm eating ~1500 cals. a day. In the UK nutritionists recommend 2500cals for men per day. I'm not sure I can cope with eating a lower calorific intake.
-
According to my Fitbit scales. my FFM has increased from 71.6kg to 75.0kg and my fat mass has decreased from 84.9kg to 80.9kg. I think the readings are erroneous. Its highly unlikely I've gained 3.4kg of muscle in 3 weeks.

I have these Salter MiBody ones: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Salter-MiBody-Analyser-Digital-Bathroom/dp/B0013IUNQO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1403263612&sr=8-4&keywords=salter+mibody You plug in a supplied USB stick and it downloads all the data. You then import the data into the Salter software. Great for monitoring body fat,…

Don't have cheat days but if I achieve my month end target I reward myself with a meal at Wagamama. I normally choose a ramen so I'm still in calorific deficit.

Feeling awkward in social and professional situations Buying clothes in a specialist retailer Nasty comments from family and others Worrying about being able to fit into an airline seat Worst of all is looking at myself or seeing photos of myself. It was this that have me incentive and motivation to lose weight. I should…
