@McGraw... awesome work!!! My gym is holding a challenge and it's based on body fat % loss to determine the winner.. so that's why I'm so curious about it. I've only ever checked it on their scale, and will again next week! My weigh in time is 5:30 am so I won't have anything to eat or drink before.. hoping I can "purge"…

No I'm 5 ft even.. but I still think it seems high! I'll keep you posted on what it says next week at my weigh in. And I actually have calipers at home, going to see what that says.

Great chart! At age 34, with 41% body fat.. I'm still "overfat".

@Melo.. curious how yours was measured? I'm 5'0 and at 139 my body fat was 41%. We are using a scale at the gym that calc's it.

Somehow my body fat % was 40+% back on 10/1.. seems so high, OBESE?! I weigh in again next week..curious where I'm at now.

take a look at my pics.. those are an almost 8 lb weight loss. I have lost 10 now, and took updated pics this weekend. I'll post them tonight!

daily goal with a 250 calorie deficit is 1358. But, that doesn't mean it's the same for you. We all metabolize differently.. just because we're the same height, we are different weights and burn calories at different rates.

I wear my HRM (with a chest strap) and record my calories burned that way. Then I log it under the cardio section. :)

I hate planet fitness.. I used to be a member but every time they brought pizza in, I seriously questioned what kind of gym I belong to. Found a better one and switched, and now found an even better one that I love!!!

I use my HRM during strength training as well and log it under cardio. still burning calories that should be recorded! :)

I got a heart rate monitor last week and I love it. It has a chest strap for accuracy - you input your sex, age, weight, height and it calc's it for you.

Hey ladies! I'm 5' and around 133lbs. I'm trying to get back down to 115.. I felt my best at this weight!

I'm 5', about 133 lbs and burned 271 calories doing an hour of hot yoga last night. I wore my HR monitor so I could get an idea because I never knew.
