  • I love quinoa too! You can use it like a hot cereal with your favorite add ins. We also eat it as a side dish instead of rice, with a little Bragg's amino or butter substitute and seasoning. You can use it in cold salads, there is one I am making tonight but I don't have the recipe with me right now. It has quinoa, black…

  • I would like to jump in on this challenge even though joining late  For me, a binge is when I eat without being hungry, mostly in the evening. I will eat anything that I can get into my mouth, while I am fixing dinner. By the time dinner is ready, I am full but too ashamed/embarrassed to not eat with my family so I…

  • I am learning that the key is to stave off hunger by having a snack and h2o before the munchies hit AND to plan activity. Boredom and stress greatly enhance my problem. Thanks for the great feedback.

  • um hello anyone ever heard of JOHNNY DEPP:love: ??? He is my #1, also George Clooney, Nicolas Cage, Mick Jagger. Brad Pitt is pretty but I am not into blondes. Also wouldn't want my man to be prettier than me :)
  • Hi everyone! I am here to renew my "vows". I have NOT been eating right and it really shows in the extra fat on my body and the blow to my health and self-esteem. I really want to get back on track. I was so discouraged after doing everything I was supposed to for 2 weeks and only losing one pound. It sort of sent me into…

  • I thank you all for the feedback. I was thinking of doing it for reasons of faith and also to lose weight. There are some interesting bible studies that discuss just that issue about Paul's writings and did his words really mean to eat whatever we want. I think there is something to the fact that if we eat what was created…
  • Looking for feedback on following the bible diet or maker's diet. This is an eating program where you choose foods based on the recommendations in the bible. Has anyone here done this and what were your results? thanks
  • I thank you all for the support, I am not the one who started this thread but I appreciate your feedback. I especially like the idea about thinking today only counts, not yesterday or tomorrow. In my case, I may have to take baby steps like "only this 5 minutes count" in order to get through a whole "today". I am stuck in…
  • I can relate. I too totally suck and have been binging and gaining weight. I really can't stop! It's almost like an out of body experience, I can see and feel the fat growing and it doesn't seem real. I lost a lot of weight a few years ago and now I am feeling like I did before, its almost like seeing an old friend again,…
  • I haven't tried the Kellogg ones but I LOVE the South Beach ones, they are called "Tide me Over" 30 cal, 3g protein, 5g fiber. Yummy, esp. the Natural Tropical Breeze flavor. They really do fill you up for awhile, enough to make it to meal time :) Plus it makes it a cinch to get in extra water.
