I have the same problem! I think you can still lose weight even though you go over in sugar a bit. I think if you try to ween yourself off sugar you'll eventually just get used to it in a few weeks and won't crave it as much. I have done that before and it works, but as soon as you start eating sugar again it's back on. I…

hi there! sent you a request ^_^

i like a lot of blueberries in my juices because they're sweet just sweet enough and don't add too many calories. and i'll add 0%m.f. greek yogurt in if i have some to thicken it up a bit. for a veggie juice i like carrots and spinach:)

people are usually not so great at noticing things about other people until theres a significant change. keep going! they'll notice!

sugar!! >_<

also it might help to stop getting cream at Timmies, i heard its like 35% milk fat

ok to be completely honest (this is prob not MFP approved advice) this is what has worked for me if i want to lose weight i just diet first and once i get down to a size that i'm happy with i'll start toning and working on muscle building. this is what i always do and i've never had a problem with gaining back the weight.…

i am definitely a pear shape! i mainly joined MFP to slim down my huge thighs lol. i hate shopping for jeans! sent a friend request :)
-
yeah, its very counter intuitive. i understand that exercise has benefits other than just weight loss but i'm pretty sure it's used to help burn up stored fat as well which is why it doesn't make sense to me that people on MFP keep insisting that you should eat back your calories.
-
oh ok lol thanks for your advice btw your profile says you're a female =/

i am on 1330 calories a day and its very difficult. my diary is public if you want to have a peek. i guess the best thing to do is just to figure out what foods fill you up the most of the fewest calories through trial and error. i like things like tomatoes cut up with pepper and a pinch of salt to be a filling snack for…

hi! i take omega 3 but just for general health reasons and not for weight loss purposes. is it supposed to help with that?
-
Hi :) Im new to MFP as well and am a fellow anxiety sufferer. Working out and taking care of my body definitely helps me to focus my attention elsewhere and keeps me calm. Sent you a friend request! Hope we can help each other out!

i dont' speak for all women but i personally hate it... i just want to go about my day under the radar =/
-
wow i couldn't... maybe they don't sweat very much?
-
I know what you mean! Those healthy weight guidelines are a bit questionable to me. At 5'4" and 118 lbs, I still feel chubby even though I'm supposedly on the lower end of the healthy range.
-
yes! i love the low carb diet because i find it really is effective and leaves me feeling the most normal.
-
some fruits are worse than others. like bananas, grapes, watermelon, pineapple are a lot more sugary than apples, pears and berries. i think fruit is still a good thing to include in your diet but you still have to be careful about which ones you're eating and how much.
-
Just started, we are similar in weight and have same weight to lose. i'll be keeping my diary public. anyone can add me :)
-
i know this sounds weird but i sip warm water lol

Ok thank you everyone for your input and for taking the time to reply! Please don't get so angry -_-' I understand 1200 is pretty low but even when I change my goal to 0.5 lbs a week my calorie recommendation is still calculated to be 1300/day which is not that different I think...I also know that my body is stubborn to…
-
Yeah I agree with you. I don't have a tonne of weight to lose so its very hard for me to see even 1 lb of difference unless I'm going very hard at my workout and strict with my diet....=/
-
Here is what I set.. weekly loss goal: 2lbs current weight: 118 lbs activity level: i set this as sedentary because aside from my workouts I'm not especially active, I sit at the computer most of the time. do you eat your exercise calories: new to the dieting, so no. i've just been going by this 1200 calorie limit that was…

thank you!
-
thank you! this is helpful!
-
wouldn't my daily deficit be super low then? it would take so long to lose 1lb..
-
I think I'm pretty active already. I do an hr of cardio 4-5x a week. But with my current diet I haven't been losing weight which is why I joined MFP to try to keep track of my calories =/
-
Thank you!!! This is the kinda stuff I'm looking for :)
-
Thank you!!!!! This is what Im kinda looking for. Filling food ideas :)

Thanks! I'm gonna try adding more protein and veggies in to see if it keeps me full longer. I do find that carbs from grains aren't as good as proteins and veggies for keeping me full but carbs are just easier heh :p
