Thank you. You are sweet and kind. I just tried to sleep but I can't, sigh :(
-
It certainly is possible to have a calorie deficit and not lose weight, but hopefully with the right exercise I will lose weight.
-
thank you so much for your kind words and i'm really sorry that you suffered depression but glad it is now in the past!
-
Nope, I wasn't :)

watching...awwwwwwwwwwwww but that thing is so cute! I just want to hug it....
-
awwww annoying when it doesn't help to lose weight yeah!! wow you enjoyed it, it was super hard for me
-
I guess different exercises affect people differently.
-
Okay, I will...show me the black dog video please. I'd love to see it
-
thanks *hugs* I do want to feel better, being depressed isn't doing anything for me at all, it's just pointless...
-
Thanks! I am planning to implement walking and running into my daily routine. You mean I should measure my waist? Actually Insanity is around a 40 min workout the first month and then an hour the next month, otherwise it would be reaally insane!
-
?? Running - okay. I will add running and walking daily. Insanity doesn't work for me. So long - you exercise a lot - good job! I do weigh my food and I'm eating at a deficit, yep.
-
I haven't spoken to a doctor about why I'm not losing weight. Thanks so much for caring. Let me tell you I am tired and sick of not being able to sleep at night and feeling unhappy all the time. When I lay awake at night I keep thinking rational thoughts like "your body is fine" "it's not like your life will be that…
-
Thanks for your kind words. Also I think I have an underactive thyroid which is why I cannot lose weight.
-
Thanks for your nice reply and for sharing your experience. What type of cardio do you do specifically? 180-190 pounds sounds good and I love that you're doing it for fitness!
-
Melissa, thanks for your nice words. I joined the swimming pool to try to lose weight, but I am trying to see it as "I always enjoyed swimming so I should have fun."
-
Wow thanks. I'm going to speed walk to the swimming pool tomorrow rather than riding my bike. Heathery I'm very ashamed to tell my weight...I feel very ashamed in real life with girls asking me how much I weigh and then they proceed to say that they weigh 100 pounds. But I guess I will try with walking.
-
I meet my calorie goal every day since I plan out my meals and I do weigh everything. Insanity and 30 DS don't work for me. Swimming doesn't work for me. Riding my bike doesn't work for me. Perhaps I should do good old running?
-
Yes I am. So I'm going to switch up my exercise I think. Callas thank you very much, sounds like you have been working very hard and I'm so happy for you. I don't have before or after photos haha. Rugbynutter, I'll try not to get hung up on my weight. It's hard though because sometimes other girls ask me my weight and it's…
-
my weight remained the same after working out for 3 months so i guess this is not normal and my current regime is not working for me....
-
I'm confused. So because some other person wrote somewhere that they also feel insecure and try to wear makeup, I'm that person? A lot of people wear makeup to cover insecurities.....With that said, I woke up feeling depressed this morning because of body image. So yeah, I do have a problem with that :(
-
Firstly you look so pretty! Secondly, my guess is that it's because you've been putting a lot more thought to your weight than you did before you were losing weight. I haven't gone through this as I haven't lost weight, but I am very self conscious about my body. I just live with it I guess. Maybe do something…
-
Awwww I feel your pain. And you weren't heavy at all if you ask me! Quite fit in my opinion!
-
Awwww sounds like a really good guy! :) Thanks :)
-
Yes, I definitely want to look better. I just find it incredibly embarrassing when people call me out on the fact that my appearance sure could use some improvement, haha >< So many times gym staff or PTs ask me if I want to lose weight when I've told them that I exercise for the sake of my health.... Lizzie - yes I did…
-
I'm 18 pounds more than the lowest healthy weight in my BMI range for my height. With that said I do have a huge battle of the bulge/waist area so I'm hoping that by exercising, I can improve this problem :) BTW, sound advice! I should focus on RESULTS, not what PTs think. They won't be in my life forever!
-
You're right...it's just very embarrassing to have it said out loud by people. Glad to know that it's a standard thing they say....felt so humiliated when I felt that he was implying that I personally need to change my appearance.
-
We're just meeting for coffee for an initial consultation, so we won't be working out. I'll see what he has to say and hear more about his past experience and what he would plan for my workout, before deciding if I want to commit to this guy or not.
-
My chocolate diet - that makes a lot of sense! Yes, that's what I was wondering when I started this thread. Like do they tell everyone they need to lose weight. Glad it's nothing personal - whew!
-
Wow, good idea, hadn't thought of it that way before. It's true - they are a fitness professional, it's not about judgment...
-
Yeah, I'm starting to see that I'm way more self conscious than is normal, I thought a lot of people probably felt this way...honestly male or female, I would feel this way...in the past female gym staff have asked if I was there to lose weight and I'd be like, "Not at all, just want to be healthy" sooo embarrassing to…
