GRATS! That's so exciting! Keeping pushing yourself, you'll be amazed at what you can do!

After just hopping out of the shower, I noticed that my back fat rolls are GONE! weeeeeee

You look so good! I'm sure you feel a million times better too. Strength training also burns more calories and revs up your metabolism so you burn more calories over time. Makes losing the fat easier!

I just lost 50 pounds as well, working on another 30. I feel like I haven't shrunk at all! I look good and feel good, but I still struggle with grabbing size 18 pants...then realizing I really need a 12/14...which is a good problem. Whenever I feel fat I put on a dress that I had custom made for me at my heaviest weight…

You should try the deep chocolate Vitatops. Amazing, and only 100 calories a pop. I have one with my afternoon tea :)

I have always loved baked goods but am trying to cut down on how many I eat. Every evening after dinner I have a deep chocolate VitaTop. They are delicious, and with a cup of almond milk its just like milk and cookies but only 130 calories!

My coach for my roller derby team told me that I have great skating skills...what was holding me back was my fitness. He said I could be a team material if I worked on getting in shape. When I told my marine boyfriend, he encouraged me to take my coach seriously. He told me it was because he wants me around for a long…

OH! Another one I forgot about. Every season my roller derby league does a basic skills test. One of the basic skills is to be able to skate 27 laps in 5 minutes. Last season and 40 pounds ago I struggled to get 27 laps. Last night they had me do it again and I skated 31 and 1/2 laps. And I didn't even wake up sore this…

I legit looked at the donuts in the breakroom and was like...nope. Don't even want to taste one. Too sugary/processed. I'm sitting at my desk eating raspberries instead. :)

192 sticks of butta! :)
-
Do you do the 5x5 training? I was thinking of starting that. PS you should try roller derby :)

In the shower I use a bar of soap to wash up. Lately as I've been rubbing the soap over my body to lather up...I feel a lot more muscle in places I didn't expect. That made me happy :)

I didn't let the number on the scale discourage me this morning. It went up half a pound from last week, and old me would have quit and gotten some Ben and Jerry's ice cream and cried. The new me is buckling down and doing a little extra workout tonight :)
-
OMG I can't stop laughing.

My boyfriend is a marine stationed 1,000 miles away from me. I'll get a phone call...probably some dirty pictures. But not lucky :(
-
HOLY CRAP that's so impressive! Good job you! My NSV is that I avoided chocolate all week. I did binge and have some last night, but my binge was only half of what I would have binged on about a month ago. I was hungry when I came home from the gym, and my protein shake didn't fill me up. So I ate that chocolate. Next time…

It was well worth the wait.

The one that surprised me most was the look on my boyfriend's face when he first saw me 45 pounds lighter. He's a marine and I only get to see him about once a year. I of course was expecting a positive reaction...but the emotional reaction he had to seeing me after 8 months and being a lot lighter then I used to…

[/quote] The only negatives in your life should be pull-ups! ;) http://www.fitstream.com/exercises/negative-pull-up-a6041[quote/] This seriously made me laugh out loud. Yes! All the negative pull ups!!
-
Great attitude! I'm going to adopt this. Thanks for the positivity! Pull ups, here I come!

My biggest one so far is not wanting to go to the gym when I get home from work. And not because I don't like working out, it's because my awesome roommates are home and we start hanging out and the night flies! I fixed it by setting up hang out time on the weekends with my roomies. So I can still see them, just not at the…

I weigh myself every day, because I know I won't stick to my plan if I don't do it. This morning I saw that the scale went up .5 pounds. I told myself, hey, that's all new muscle! And went about my day. It all depends on how you handle the information. If mine goes up 3 pounds I buckle down instead of quitting. But I know…

Wooooo! Is it time for the beach yet? :)
-
Mine too!! We can do it! Work hard, eyes on the prize! I love having this goal instead of a weight goal. It feels like I have more control over it. Weight is just a number, but a pull up means you're strong!
-
Wow. Thank you for the inspiration! I'm going to keep this in mind whenever I feel discouraged. (Like this morning! I didn't lose any weight, but I did maintain.) You look a lot like Rose Tyler from Doctor Who! I love it
-
Last night I did a ONE MINUTE PLANK! I kept perfect form, but I was shaking at the end. Whew do I feel good!
-
This is my goal for the end of this year. I'm going to use all these videos. I've been focusing on losing the extra weight to make it a little easier to pull my whole body up! I'm 30 years old and I started at 230, now I'm down to 190. I've been lifting weights the entire time, so I already feel tons stronger. Some of it…

My roommate brought home three huge bags of candy, and I totally binged this weekend. According to the scale this morning, I gained weight. But instead of having it get me discouraged and giving up, I'm buckling down this week. And planning out my weekend better because I realized when I get aimless during the…

I always brush my teeth when I'm done eating for the night, so I'm not tempted to snack.

I carry a gallon of water around with me wherever I go so I can drink from it throughout the day. Trust me, not only will your weight drop from more water, but you'll feel more awake, and your skin improves. I used to break out during TOM, but now since I drink so much water that never happens anymore!
