When I vacation I allow myself to eat out but still make healthy choices most of the time. I do allow myself to cheat some just not binging every day.

Hi, my name is Vanessa, and I have been on MFP for a while but definitely not active. I am 45 years old and married. I need to drop at least 60 lbs. and am hoping to do a lot of biking. For now, I am on an old Schwinn bike as it is all I can afford. Other than the bike are there one or two key things that I should have to…

I will always have to count calories. I stopped recently for about a month and have gained 4 pounds back. I have just come to realize that unless I am counting the calories I have blinders on as to how much I am really eating. Today starts a new day for me and the beginning of the rest of my life. Happy Counting

You will start to notice it. I just posted something similar last week but mine was about clothes sizes not changing. Funny thing is this morning I put on one of my shirts on and realized how much better I look in it now than i did before. Have patience.

I was just very curious. It is not a big deal that I haven't changed sizes yet just perplexed me. I wear my shirts very loose anyway because in my mind that hid the fat better (although, in truth it probably just made me look bigger!). I just cant do the tight shirts that make me look like a stuffed sausage.

My work decided to do a Biggest Loser contest and I saw a picture of myself and new I had to make a change. I mean really I can not believe I let myself get that bad!

5'5.5" I currently weigh 199.2 lbs and my goal is 150. At my best I was 120 but not sure that I would be able to maintain that weight now at my age.

I'm in :) my first goal is a little over 50 lbs but I know when I reach that I will want to go further. And I need motivation.
