  • Love to join your group. I was 50 last year (2011) and had promised myself I would not be Fat and 50. Unfortunately, I was and am,. but more importantly I am unfit and unhealthy too! So, I start 2012 with a clean slate and some new focus and goals to make sure that 2012 will be the begining of a healthier, fitter and…
  • Wishing you all a happy, healthy, fitter and slimmer 2012 and beyond. I would love to join the challenge. Have a real problem sticking to exercise, always an excuse - but need to stick at it as I know it is a big key towards my weight loss .I have to learn if I cant manage one type of exercise at one particular time - eg.,…

  • Okay, time for some serious refocussing here. Been off track for weeks. Promised to be back on track today but managed to eat snack box of smarties, silly girl. I have decided Right, I joined this challenge to make a difference by Christmas - not talking weight here, just feel alive rather than bloated lethargic blob with…

  • No, you aren't a freak. It is a well known side effect of a physical injury. You really will get back to it soon, honestly, but before you do you will experience a whole range of emotions. I know it sounds really girlie, but try some meditation and visualisation of you actually doing your sport. - running through your…
  • Happy Tuesday everyone. Back on track here, thank goodness. 60 min row has left me with serious blisters on my hands and some really bad chaffing and bruises on my bum! Surprising enough I still feel really good. I have a couple of Clients shortly, so it will be interesting to see how I will cope with them. Must admit I…
  • Forgot to say that I have made my diary visable to friends - cant believe it - but I have been quite good recently and I also think it adds another level of accountability. Jxx
  • The old demon sneaked back this morning, before I knew it I was surrounded by the debris of a mini blow out! It is a little like waking up the next morning with a blood covered knife in your hand and a corpse at your feet wondering - how the hell did that happen! I lost 1.5 lbs in the weigh in this morning, so should be…
  • Two of my friends are nutritionists and they both swear by Spatone. One takes if herself as she is pregnant and iron deficient, so it is very very safe. Good Luck
  • Not been able to row for a couple of days as bad back and sciatica have flared up. I must say I think that by using MFP, it helps me get back on track so much faster on the exercise and food front. I am hopeful that I will be able to do a little later, not the 50mins that my schedule requires - I think that might be too…

  • Just logged on for first time. Been a massage therapist for 18 years and would recomend you dont workout after massage. Your body needs a chance to accept the benefits of the massage and you will find you will not be able to work out to your best ability. Have the massage, skip the gym tonight.
