I’m with you. Have 4 active kids (3 competitive swimmers) so trying to keep their calorie intake up is so in contrast to what I need. It’s frustrating. It also seemed as soon as I hit 40, my body went “nope”. But gonna keep trying...

You definitely can do it! One of the best things about skating as you can scale it to how you feel. Do what you love! I'm just getting back into to skating as well. Have found a synchro team to start with again in the fall so will be getting on the ice now to get ready for it. Wishing you all the best!

I get how it can be de-motivating. I have low burn rates as well and made the mistake once of signing up for a team burn challenge. Never got to the workout yesterday...so doing double today to catch up! Already did Pure Cardio this morning and pumped to do plyometric cardio circuit tonight! Guess we are getting a taste of what Month 2 will be like!

06/04 - 10069 06/05 - 8593 I messed up yesterday. Wasn't pushing self as I planned to do an Insanity workout after date night...but we were too tired! But as a make-up, we are doing 2 Insanity workouts today. Lesson learned - Don't get lazy just because of a planned workout!
