10000 Steps a day Challenge for 16 weeks!

My company has started this Corporate Wellness Challenge, where in we need to form a team of 7 people and do a minimum of 10K steps per day per person. The more steps the better!!!

I would like to do this here with my MFP pals too!!! A pedometer will help to keep a track of the steps taken!

Anyone interested, please feel free to add me, and we can share our experiences and steps here.

This is absolutely the best way to start your weight loss journey for beginners.

Lets start today -

    I'm so in! :) My day isn't over yet so I'll most likely be posting the day after for my steps as I import that data from my armband so I can see how many i got for the whole day. I might make a ticker for this and estimate for the 16 weeks it will be a goal of about 1,120,000 steps....WOW!! haha

    Walking is fun! I love walking coz I get to think a lot, and that motivates me - my ME time! :D

    Can I join in too? I recently got a Fitbit so want to work to hit that 10,000 per day. And Rose, I just started Insanity yesterday....are you doing it right now too?

    Yes! :) I in week 8 now and am also training for the Tough Mudder in October so I just started my distance running as of yesterday too. Once I complete Insanity I'll be starting Les Mills Combat June 9th. :happy:

    Yikes. I really sucked this weekend. Too many errands (sitting in the car) and birthday parties just sitting around. Goal for next weekend will be to at least double my step count. And gonna get back to 10000 today! Have a great week everyone!

    I just bought a pedometer and haven't really gotten into the groove with it yet. I burned about 3000 steps not doing anything extra. That's pretty sedentary, isn't it? Will keep an eye on this challenge if that's OK?

    I have been doing it too, but didn't log it that often, but have my stats, so here they go ( from the time I missed till date ) -
