Low Carb/High protein/high fat is recommended for children with epilepsy (Ketogenic Diet) when medicine doesn't work. Doctors recommed eating this way more than most people realize but even these children remain on it for usually 3 or 4 years longest.

I love it for the flavor of peanut butter mixed in a protein shake, or gluten free oatmeal, on a banana but never tried it plain. I love it, great to add extra protein in your diet.

I don't belong to a gym either. Just can't get into it... but I am glad so many other people can enjoy them. Instead I work out with a group of people at my work during lunch.
