32 here and been in banking for 13 years. I feel like I'm constantly yo-yo-ing. I lose so much motivation this time of year because winter in Wisconsin = yuck :/ Feel free to add me!

MFP has a great PCOS group you should check out: community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/3070-p-c-o-sis As mentioned above, us pcos-ers tend to have better luck with a LCHF woe. I enjoy keto myself, and am seeing great results. It's not impossible to lose weight with PCOS but it definitely poses a challenge. The key is finding…

mmmm beer ... Brewfest is this Saturday and I plan on enjoying every minute of it. I'm just going to make sure I get my workout in in the morning, and hydrate  then back at it Sunday.

Hello ladies! I'm Stephanie, and have PCOS too. Though I'm not looking at conceiving at the moment, I am desperately trying to get my symptoms under control. PMDD, insulin resistance, extra hair, extra weight (especially in my tummy) ... Please feel free to add me. The more support the better, I find :)

Maybe looking at carb cycling is a better option than straight up low carb or keto? That would allow some low carb days and some high carb days. If you're looking to stay in ketosis then high carb days will most likely kick you out. That being said, there's nothing wrong with being a bit more restrictive during the week…

I'm 5'3" ... I can tell you that just about every BB workout urges to simply do your best. Do what you can do and work your way up. If you have to "rest" during a workout just keep moving until you can jump in again.

There's a wonderful keto group here on MFP with lots of great info

Oh, I see. That makes more sense. Since mine isn't continuous and I get a period every month it shouldn't try to "fix" that ... hopefully lol

Thanks for the input :) I'm excited to give this a try. I'd be interested to hear if anybody else has had issues while taking Inositol while on birth control. I'm looking to help my insulin resistance, hair, etc. but at the moment have no interest in getting pregnant.

Thanks so much for the link! I had done a bit of searching but hadn't found this one in the list.

I did Insanity at 230, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Everything can be modified. Heck, I've modified the modifier and still saw results. Start slowly. Do what you can but don't overdo it because you don't want injuries either. Best of luck to you! :)

There is a wonderful Keto group here if you search for it. They're super helpful :)

#teambutter!! :) ... but really I'm all for personal preference, and that is mine (YUM). You decide which you prefer and log it like you normally would. The arguments for butter vs. margarine could go on all day.

The Casual Vacancy ... bit of a slow start to the book, but anxious to see where the story goes.

There is a wonderful Keto group here on MFP. I suggest you post questions there. I've met some great people who have been very helpful :)

I'm drinking mine now!! ... I definitely miss it when I have to skip a day for some reason. LOVE it

I find this so frustrating too!! I've been trying to find the CarbSmart brand Dan mentioned but I can't find it anywhere around here (small town WI). Are there any other low carb brands out there?
-
That's a good point. How do you calculate net carbs on these items?
-
I agree it's a much more simple way to go with total carbs. I was looking at grabbing an Atkins shake to keep on hand for if I'm running late in the mornings, and it said something like 2 net carbs ... I flip it over and it actually had 17 carbs! Big difference to me. I think I'll just stick with the tried and true. Thanks…

Hi there! I'm a Wisconsinite ... and you better believe I'm ready for a Packer victory on Sunday!!

While I definitely ate too much over the holidays I ended up throwing out a bunch of sweets just so they wouldn't be there. Also, just TODAY I said no to a coworker that brought cookies back from lunch. I also declined the M&Ms, blueberry muffins, box of treats a customer left, and cookies that were already there! (Yes,…

I really appreciate all of the great responses here! So, thank you for that. I've seen a lot of posts in the main forum that go bad because fights start, and that just doesn't help. (and don't worry deansdad101, I found your suggestions very helpful) So, thanks for being a great group  As far as NK goes ... at this…

Starving yourself won't stop your cravings. You have cravings when your body needs something it's currently lacking. It's trying to tell you something, and I think you should listen ... have you thought about talking to a nutritionist? They might be able to shed some light on getting you the nutrition you need while…

Columbus here! I feel your pain ... and I'm dreading setting our clocks back in a couple weeks

Ugh, excuse me for attempting to actually answer the OPs original question rather than being an *kitten* to her. That's how you see/change your coach. Not trying to spam ... next time I'll just pm her.
-
My BB coach is a friend and doesn't push me to buy things I don't want/need. They're not all horrible as people on here want you to believe. (No, I am not a coach) You'll be able to see your coach on teambeachbody.com. You can email them or call to change your coach. Otherwise if you're just looking for info on hybrid…

Just looking at your diary, I'd say drop the supplements and spend that money on better food options. You may not be going over your calories but nutritionally not all the best choices. I also agree you may be underestimating if you're not measuring your food. I was surprised when I began measuring/weighing because my…

I'm not particularly embarrassed by this because all my friends and family know about this ... but when I was 3 my Godmother gave me an Alley Kat. I named him Cat, and my brother gave him a voice and personality ... he still lives. I'm now 30 and my brother is 33 and Cat is still around. He's missing an eye, we've…
