Coffee is the healthiest breakfast I could come up with. I love breakfast foods but not breakfast time lol

10g of butter is only 70 cals and goes a long way if you melt it in the pan and then toss the veggies in it. I usually just do 10-15g butter, garlic powder salt and pepper. On occasion I'll also add parmesan and maybe less butter or use I can't believe it's not butter light to offset some cals

I did initially only worry about calories but now I'm mindful to also get adequate micronutrients. I have a pretty high maintenance since I'm very active so I manage to have a decent amount of discretionary calories. I follow the 80/20 rule but admittedly there are days where it's 80/20 lol ETA: I'd add you as a friend but…

1g/lb of lean body mass protein, .35g/lb of ideal bodyweight for fat, by default carbs get the rest. I personally like a little more fats so I take from carbs.

I spent 6 weeks in Italy and the UK in 2015 so I did train while I was there but when I went to Punta Cana for 7 days I did nothing but eat and drink.

When I was first starting to lose weight I would run on the street and some awful girls driving by yelled out "keep running fatty" I was about 240lbs then. Anyways, I took their advice and i now weigh 90lbs less and don't have 4 kids from unknown dads like I'm sure they do. I'm still bitter that a portion of my paycheck…

Yes that's incredibly low but I don't know what kind of chicken breast and 3 eggs is 450 OR LESS. May want to check your numbers. Are you weighing and logging?
-
Top 5 items/habits for me: Food Scale Cromometer app Fitbit Meal Prepping (does that count? lol) Pre-Logging

Yes, and I'm not looking that gift horse in the mouth

Have not had breakfast save for the odd brunch out since I was 16yo; I'm 37

I don't think I've been there since 2014 so no lol

Sounds like you got some good advice already but I just wanted to mention that anytime someone makes "many attempts" I like to point out that it's far more likely you quit because your plan was unsustainable. It's not sexy or dramatic to lose weight slowly but it does get you there. Food for thought; good luck!

I used to do 5; now I do 3 or 4 (and usually 3 more often than 4) Most of my exercise is walking outdoors so I just make it to the gym for the minimum required time to keep my abs and behind thicc haha

I don't have a cheat day once a week but once every 2 weeks I'll go over maintenance by about 500 cals. It costs me very little in terms of my goals but 1K calories more than I would normally eat goes a long way; especially since my maintenance is 2500ish. Sometimes if I want to do this 2 weeks in a row I'll do a little…

My daughter likes the sugary cereal and eats it dry lol I'm a failure as a parent

On average I get about 70g and I eat *mostly* whole foods. I think I get a little extra from Halo Top but not much. Unless you have diabetes I wouldn't even track it. I only know mine because I was curious

It doesn't make logical sense to classify any food as healthy vs unhealthy without looking at that food in the context of the whole diet and activity level. For my 10 year old it wouldn't make sense because he's a bit heavy and not as active. For my active and tiny 8yo it would be perfectly fine.
-
I use milk chocolate for weight loss. Admittedly I can't have as much as I would like so most of the time I'll have Halo Top instead.

I practice IF and I have "used" it to both bulk and cut because that's my eating preference. Like others have mentioned your deficit determines fat loss.
-
I'm about 100lbs lighter and 2" shorter and that would have me killing people. Wouldn't be able to stick to that for 3 days much less the time required to shed 75lbs. I'd re-evaluate your goals and find something more sustainable

If you like toast and baked potatoes why again are you considering keto?

If it being easier to do everything is a problem then yes. I agree with Amy, her problems were probably from being so heavy and she's noticing it now that she's using her body in a more physically demanding way.

My premium sandwich bread has the cals for 1 slice listed as 110/40g. More often than not the slices are 60g For 15$ I'd buy a scale and experiment with your servings. Sometimes I don't bother weighing things I know will only have a few grams difference (Dempsters hamburger buns being one of them) but I'm 5 years in, I…

Someone told you you had to choose? This may come as a shock but many flexible dieters get most of their calories from whole, nutrient dense foods they just don't get PTSD when they eat a slice of cake.

Looked good for me based on my observed TDEE

I usually go up 2lbs when I ovulate, it's pretty normal either then or around your period. Best thing to do is to look over time vs week to week
-
mine are all doing the "military diet" I am way past having opinions on co-workers nutritional choices lol I just keep my head down LOL Not worth saying anything tbh. You have to work with them for years and this detox will last a week. Pick your battles.

My kids have Garmin VivoFit Jrs and we like to compare steps and who has more... On Saturday if we get 10K steps we go out for ice cream and if not we don't. I don't see an issue with this, it's not like I'm putting them on a diet and they were really interested in my FitBit when they didn't have a tracker and I did.
