Hi, I'm trying to lose 20lbs and also committing to a healthy lifestyle. I'm giving up smoking and so trying to exercise and also log my food so that I don't replace smoking with eating! Could really do with support and motivation and am good at providing it too, please feel free to add me.
-
I log my meals for the day ahead each night. I find I do stick to it and I waste a lot less food this way. It also helps me work out the exercise I need to do too and I'm less likely to cheat or change my plans. I don't know why it works for me this way, it just does!

Daily walking really worked for me and helped me maintain my weightloss even when my diet was slipping.
-
What a great positive attitude you have, you'll be just fine!
-
Please add me too, this sounds exactly what I was looking for, plus put new battery in my Fitbit so ready to record my steps from tomorrow, am aiming for over 10,000

You can link it to your MFP account so that it records your steps and exercise calories earned too.

-
What works for me is logging food the night before, it helps me with meal prep and I find I stick to what if planned. It also means less food waste and cost.

Good old tea for me, maybe a hot chocolate if I have some calories spare!

I thought I was imagining my boots being looser! People sit next to me on the bus as I don't now take up too much room. The biggest change I see is my mood, I seem to be able to handle life with a smile not a frown. Things that would stress me out and set my internal monologue/rant off for hours now roll off me much more…

Lol! Just read this after eating very unhealthy lunch of sausage rolls and chocolate cake! Not a good start to the week for me, but back on track for tonight

Hi I'm 5'8 and my starting weight was 218lbs, I'm currently 188lbs and my goal is 168lbs. Once I'm there I'll see how it looks and feels before deciding whether to shoot for 154lbs which would be my ultimate goal.
