This is so useful to read, sitting on the sofa with my hot water bottle! My scales today said 2lbs up and whilst I know logically what the reason for this is, emotionally, it is hard to see. I struggle with patience, but I know that in 2-3 days time I will see the difference. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll be fine

I love this thread and the OP, I’ve always done the same thing. Lots of good intentions in my head, starting tomorrow! Well for today, I am going to log my food and stick to my calorie goals.

A friend always used to ask herself, do I need this or do I want this? She always swore by it. I do like the apple theory in the OP- going to try it!

I find waking great, I do the three miles home from Work in about 45mins so keeps My heart rate up. I find jogging too hard but can walk for days! Helps me be in calorie deficit too

This is such a good thread! I had a dry cleaners near me who had a really good tailed. She did alterations of some of my clothes down either one or two sizes max, it was a much cheaper way of managing the transition and meant I could buy some new clothes too!

Reaching out was a brave first step, well done. You’ve had so much success, don’t lose heart. Perhaps it’s time to step back mentally and evaluate, what has worked, what you feel is not working anymore, what small change/s you could make to your diet or routine that would help you feel more positive. Maintenance is so hard…
