I keep slipping back but each time I set myself a weight that I can't go past. I will never be 13 stone again, and now I shall never be 12 stone again, I am currently 11stone 4lbs and can't wait till I can maintain at under 11 stone. Setting a top limit is easier for me than setting a specific weight as it allows me to…

I was exercising and not eating calories back and my weight plateaued. I've not been able to go to the gym for the past few weeks and I haven't changed my eating but my weight is now going down. I was eating 1200- 1400 cals, exercising about 400 cals per day, 5 days per week. Now I am eating 1200 - 1400 cals & not…

That's brilliant, not the bit about the fight but the bit about the self control...! I'm sure recording everything (good & bad) is working for me.

Thank you for the offer, but I think I'll try sulking first & see if that helps lol

The cocker spaniel is just 10 weeks old and is helping with my fitness plan, my waistline is getting smaller by the day from all the bending over and playing :)

I like that, I may use it as my new motto, my old one was 'I am not hungry, but I am bored, so I shall eat'

Some of it does get better on it's own over time. The main thing I've found is to give your skin chance to keep up, if you lose the weight steadily instead of trying to lose huge amounts every week the result is much better.

I log everything, I even weigh celery.....but I do not log tea & coffee as they are good for my mental health and without them I would be a total head case :)

I tried them, followed the plan but didn't lose as much as I can eating 'real' food. Loved the milkshakes I was sad to stop having them lol

Best - Looking good when you are slim is much easier, no worryng about clothes that I can't wear because they don't fit. Worst - People who say that I've lost too much & look ill. No I haven't lost too much, I believed you last time & gained it all back, that;s not happening again.

Congratulations on making a great decision. Portion control is a great place to start. The next step is to look at what you are eating and how you prepare it. There's lots of people on this site who are willing to offer advice, some of it can get a bit technical but mostly I've found that looking through the forums and…

I was on 1200 cals with biggest loser, plateaued so upped it to 1400, I wasn't eating exercise cals (usually about 400 per day). I'm now going to keep to 1400 (I'm usually way under) in the week and add some of the left over calories to the weekends as that is when I struggle, I'll let you know if it works.

150 is my goal ideally I'd like to be in the mid 140's but no lighter as my face looks too thin & I get all the 'oh you don't look well' comments.

I've had a very bad Easter too. I've decided that after 5 days of eating far too much today is the first day of my new start. I am not going to weigh until my normal wiegh in day, Friday, I'm looking at the next few days as the buffer zone to undo some of the Easter damage! I want to lose 14lbs (plus anything gained over…

I can cope if something is still wrapped up but once it's opened all bets are off & I work on the same logic as an earlier poster eat it quick & then the problem's gone - seeing that written by someone else makes me see how crazy I'm being.

I have a polar F7 which is great for the gym & for tracking time & calories burned walking to & from the gym. I would love something as accurate as my polar that didn't require a chest strap. Very tempted by a fitbit but ........ Still not convinced

What I hate is when you haven't seen someone for a while & they comment 'oh you managed to keep all that weight off then!' yeah, thanks I think there's a compliment in there somewhere.

Loving all the recipes I use tinned tomatoes with mixed herbs, chilli powder, garlic and some veg stock add some browned onions plus butternut squash, carrots, red pepper, celery. Brown some low fat sausages and chop them into thick chunks. Add in some potato. If I've got it in the fridge - in it goes lol Very healthy but…
