Well 3 weeks to my 1/2. Still recovering from my 2 weeks of being ill. My chest is still a little congested, Only ran 1k on Wednesday legs were ok but my lungs were to congested and had a hard time breathing. 3 weeks of no cardio is killing me LOL. May jump on the bike today as its easier on my cardio and may ease me back…

Good job ladies. For me Ive been off work now for 5.5 days and sick for 9 days. I'm just trying to eat to get my energy back then I'm back with avengence >:)

Well I haven't ran or done any form of exercise for the last 6 days this flu is killing me. Dropped 10 pounds unintentionally. This is one nasty bug.

Welcome Gabella. Gratz on deciding on the 1/2. My 1st 1/2 is on May10. Been training for like 5 months now LOL. My goal originally was to finish, then that lead to a goal to 3hours, then a goal to beat my brothers time of 2.5 hours. Either way I'm finishing the race and framing my chip and bib 8)

I have my 1st 1/2 in May. I run 5k/10k/5k during mid week, and run 21k on Saturdays. Now I've followed the hal Higdons Novice 2. Question is I finished it early and have been running my 21k long run every Saturday for the last month, should I be backing off on the distance on the weekend and save it for race day? My legs…

First 1/2 comming up in May also. Did my 1st outdoor run last week after training on the treadmill for the last 6 months. It was GREAT. Other than my hands freezing, I found my times were faster than my indoor times. Indoor I run on average 6min kilos, I was averaging 5:40 with a low of 5:10 on one split. Northern Canada…

-7c today and did my 1st outdoor run in 6 months. And it felt F'N GREAT LOL. 6.9km in 39:31, deffinitly run faster outside than on treadmill. Knees a little achy from the freezing weather though.

5k this evening 28:27. After I spent 2 hours clearing an ice bank left from the snow plow at the end of my driveway. Now my driveway is flooding, due to the warm temperatures LOL
