LOL that made me laugh!

Agreed. I've got 20 years on you, so I've got more to worry about. But I'm a sodium junkie :/

bump for later :)

Try wheatgrass to up your veggie count. I'm really bad about getting my veggies in so this is a great way to help supplement what I don't eat. Try fitting in more snacks throughout the day to up your calories and keep your metabolism level.

Just in case you were wondering about the whole recipe: - use 40% reduced sodium Old El Paso seasoning packet with 1 lb. ground turkey. I usually only use 1/2 the packet of seasoning. - once done, spread in serving dish. Let it cool a bit, then cover and place in fridge until cold. - spread a thick layer of sour cream over…

I always make a lower fat/calorie taco dip for these occasions. Use ground turkey (93% lean), low-fat or fat-free sour cream and shredded cheese, and baked tortilla chips.

Wow - wish I could think up something more creative than Lean Pockets, but that's all I've got off the top of my head. Maybe try wrapping your food in a low-carb wrap, to keep everything contained. Best wishes to you as you recover from surgery.

I'm in North Carolina, so there probably isn't much you'd like to see here. If this is just a vacation, then I'd say don't worry about your diet. If I ever had the chance to visit another country I'd want to eat all the local food - good and bad! Have a great time, and don't deny yourself anything. This may be your only…

I'll join you, but with my wheatgrass juice, fresh fruit, and unsalted, unbuttered popcorn. Cheers! j/k, I'm on my 3rd shot :D

The Oatmeal, FTW!

Thank you!

Mine goes up and down, up and down... I'm dizzy!

My favorite is fennel and orange salad: - chop fennel into small cubes - cut up 1 to 2 oranges into small pieces - add olive oil and either red wine vinegar or champagne vinegar to taste - salt and pepper to taste - place in refrigerator and let marinate at least an hour before serving (stir every once in a while) Enjoy :)

I actually read your original post when you first put it up, and I couldn't believe the replies. Everyone deserves a treat every once in a while, that clearly isn't your normal mode of eating, so I really didn't get why some of them were being so condescending. Keep your chin up! You were honest enough to post about your…

I don't eat a lot of sweet potatoes, but I love sweet potato fries! Just peel skin and cut into strips, coat with a little olive oil, sprinkle on a pinch of salt, and bake for about 20 mins @ 450 degrees. You'll want to turn them once during baking, and you can cook them longer if you want them crispier. I like them with…

The way you started out, I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to see once I scrolled down - a train wreck, maybe? Ummm... no. The length of your dress and the shrug are both something younger people wear, so I don't understand how the outfit "ages" you. But since I also struggle with self-esteem issues, I can totally…

You look absolutely stunning and I WANT YOUR LEGS!

Basically I'm bookmarking this page, so that I can go to my profile later/tomorrow and see if there have been any more answers. Also, people "bump" a thread to keep it active, in hopes more people will see it and comment. Hope that helps!

bump - this is relevant to my interests ;)

Awesome - good for you!

I'm in North Carolina, just waiting for the cow tipping to start :p

Don't gain any weight! (I swear maintenance is just as hard as losing weight)

I think reduced-fat Triscuits have become an extra appendage - I eat them that frequently.

Count me in!

You look great!

I started taking an extra magnesium supplement (250 mg) and it started helping almost immediately. It is super cheap (at Wal-mart), and worth it to include in your normal daily vitamin regimen. It is very rare now that I have any symptoms anymore, in comparison to suffering every night!
