lol...I can't calm down...I have pms. ;P I will go lift something very heavy tonight...that usually helps. Rather lots of heavy things...a good workout always helps.

My scale showed 3 extra pounds this morning as well. I'm not too worried though.....it happens sometimes depending on sodium levels, etc. No worries. Maybe we can blame it on the FULL MOON!!! hehe.

lol....gads there are a lot of know it alls on this site. You have to start somewhere. 5 lbs is a great starting point. All power to ya. When it gets too light, move up. No one starts out lifting their freaking body weight. You've got the right idea. Start slow and low and work up when you're ready...:) No sense in hurting…

HEY, I like my pink dumbells! hehe..j/k. I do like them, but only for certain kind of workouts (5's & 8's coming in handy for the 30ds). I lift moderately heavy at the gym, but am going to start really getting after it in about 2 weeks. I've been reading NRFLFW. Gotta get my head around all that before I take the big…

Personally, I need someone like Jullian yelling at me, so she doesn't bother me. But, if I'm having a bad day and feel like punching her, I just slip in my ipod and use my own music while watching them and doing the exercises.

YaY! That's awesome..:)

Laughing at this advise is ridiculous. You are OVER DRINKING ie. alcoholic, and you want to lose weight when you are already at a low 110. I think you're at the wrong site, and you obviously aren't taking these issues seriously as you're laughing at someone who is offering sound advise. He wasn't being a smart *kitten*, he…

I look like hell at the gym....just sayin'. Luckily at my age, no one is going to hit on me anyway...lol Oh, the joy of being middle aged and happily married....

Girls, here's something you might experiment with. I've struggled with knee issues for a couple years. Tried arch supports of various kinds...lots of different brands of shoes, etc. etc. When I started the 30 day shred...the jumping exercises were killing my knees so I got a rebounder (mini tramp). That helped a lot, but…

SQUATS...MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF SQUATS OF EVERY KIND. They will shrink.

Joined.....fer sure.

YES...as heavy as you can manage to get better results. I use 5 and 8lb depending on the exercise.

5'10" .. going for 150. Size 10...anything smaller than that makes me look skeletal. I think a lot of this depends on bone structure, etc. of each individual.

In response to WATEVA: It's pretty cheap, so you could try it and see. I'm 46 and have problems with my knees, and I use a rebounder with the jumping jacks and impact exercises...works great. If squats bother your knees though, it might be a struggle as she does a TON of squats. They don't seem to bother me at all. It's…

This. People have so many issues with themselves, they don't usually want to hear your accomplishments. Live and learn.

25 lbs in 2 months is a "relaxed pace"? Wow, and here I thought I was pushing it trying to lose a pound a week (about 8-10 lbs in a 2 month span). Isn't a pound a week loss the recommended amount?

chocolate milk and whey protein powder seems to help with my after workout aches.

I noticed you aren't filling out your food and exercise diary (which helps a lot). Also, looks to me like you're working with just one friend? Maybe ad several more for support. You can do this thing...seriously. So many have, and it's very doable. Good luck!

Killer abs...I want me some abs like that...hehe. Good job!

Ok, I'm the biggest diet skeptic around. I don't believe any of the claims. YET, I actually ordered Sensa one time....O.M.G>!!!!!! What a freaking moron. I knew it wouldn't work. I barely even tried it when it arrived because I knew there was no way in hell the stuff would work. I must have clicked that buy button at a…

Awesome job! Looking great!!

I've done this a couple times! Saw a guy at the gym doing it, and he told me what it was so I looked it up. It's a great workout. I think you can get an ipod application of it too....or at least one of the versions of the Spartacus workout.

No biggie, your body is just adjusting to the exercises. When you hit level two, no doubt you'll have a few stiff muscles again. I'm doing 30DS, and am on day #8. I'm not sore, although felt it some the first couple days. I've decided to do 10 days on L1, 10 days L2, and 10 days level 3. I'm starting to get bored with…
