Maybe I'm missing something here. You only have like 27 pounds you want to lose? Why go to the lengths of getting medication? That's not a whole lot to lose. From your picture you don't look like you have much to lose at all. You can do 27 lbs with exercise and diet easy.

My gym has a dress code of sorts.....no midriff showing, etc. It's a gym, not a meat market for Christ's sake. I love my gym....the people are average Joe's, and we're in there to work. hard.

Try a tablespoon or two of black strap molasses for a month. Seriously helps with the energy level due to the iron content. You may just be lacking iron.

Yes, try switching up your workouts regularly. Some weight lifting/strength training (all kinds of ideas on youtube)....a different dvd each month. Don't just stick with one machine. When I started changing up my routines frequently, I noticed MUSCLES! hehe...and clothes started getting looser.

I just started...day 3 today. love it...only problem is the impact on my bad knee when doing the jumping jacks/running in place/jump rope. Thanks for all the advise! Never thought about the mini tramp...that might take some of the impact off. I do a TON of biking which doesn't both the knees at all, but really like this 30 day shred, so will incorporate some of your ideas into her program. Sometimes, the pictures I see on mfp make me wonder if people are actually looking for dates....just sayin'. Course, everyone wants to show their results. I have the same problems. I started the 30 day shred and my bad knee is feeling the impact...jumping jacks, jump rope, etc. I'm looking for some alternatives to those particular exercises because i love the rest of the program.
