I did once. i hurt my ankle in a body attack class. I pushed through my injuries to the end of the class, plus the class afterwards. I ended up leaving myself out of commission for months for what should have taken a week to heal. By the time my ankle healed, I lost all interest in fitness and I haven't been back since.

It sounds like you really need that rest . Nothing unhealthy about that. If you are sleeping. you're not eating. Simple as that. Rest is good. Keep up the good work while you're awake.

Is there a Gym in your area with a first day trial class you could go to on your day off? You could get some hints from the person running that gym, then when you go back to work, you'll know what to do>>

I don't think I could handle daily. I would never see them change. Weekly does sound good because 5 weeks can seem like forever to wait. I'm slightly tempted to change to weekly checks but for now my mind hasn't been changed. Thanks for the imput folks.:flowerforyou:

This does sound like me. The trouble is that the last thing I want to do is cut back on exercise. The less i exercise the less i need to eat to stay healthy. Then I can't sleep because I'm flaming hungry... Oh and congratulations toad in almost reaching your goal weight.

Surely if you are weight training. You should be concentrating more on your protein, rather than your calories. Protein is the scientific name for strength. The more protein you have, the stronger you feel.
