Hey Brittany, My name is Brittney too (though spelled differently) and I'm a university student as well. I think it's great that you are trying to get fit but it's pretty awful that your family is teasing you. I had similar issues a few years back and I know it's really demotivating when you are the butt of family jokes.…

Yea metal water bottles are definitely better. If you don't want to spend much you can get them at costco for fairly cheap.

You might want to build up to this. Burning 600-800 a day is already quite a bit if you want to challenge yourself. More than that on a daily basis could lead to torn muscles etc. especially if your body isn't used to it. Moderation is really key as you don't want go overboard and then get burned out or injure yourself.

I am a major coffee addict and found that the best way to keep the calories and sugar manageable was to make my own. Options hot chocolate powder is really low cal (38-40 cal per serving) and come in tons of flavors. They have enough flavor that I usually use one serving of cocoa per 3 cups of coffee. They even come in…

Thanks for posting the recipe I am ridiculously excited about making it and having cheesecake for breakfast! You are now my favorite person on MFP :)

This is very likely! I 'gained' 5 lbs in one day and gained inches after a hike and higher sodium lunch. It was magically gone a few days later. Definitely check your sodium levels and make sure you are drinking lots of water.

Some of these pills work BUT they work because you are so hyped up on caffeine and legal speed that you don't feel the need to eat. You might lose weight but you'll be unhealthy, have trouble sleeping, and be extremely irritable. Also, they pay people to write positive reviews and blog posts so good reviews don't…

I'm having a similar problem. I lost a lot of weight and then slipped and gained it again so now I'm having a hard time staying motivated and trying to get back to my previous loss. It takes some time for your body to change and you just have to focus on the health benefits. Try to remind yourself that it will take time to…

I have an ED and have good days and bad days. I think that you can't ever really get rid of the feelings or urges but you can get to a point where you aren't swinging back and forth so drastically. If you feel like adding me as a friend I'd be happy to have you.

I mix it with a couple of tablespoons of salsa or light cream cheese.

While you may not have an eating disorder this is disordered eating. You might need to work out a little less for a while and try to learn how to eat well without feeling like you are losing control of your food intake. Aside from the fact that purging through exercise and then binge eating won't help you lose weight it…

http://happyherbivore.com/recipe/single-serving-vegan-brownie/ I'm not a vegan but these brownie/cupcakes are sooooo good. I eat them fresh from the oven. They are 124 cal but the recipe can be split into 2 smaller cupcake/brownies making them each 62 cal. The list of ingredients sounds weird but I promise you can find…

Have you tried the Boots Maple Popcorn? It's something like 98 calories for a bag and they are sweet like a kettle corn or caramel corn. It's pretty much my new favorite thing. Other than that I am a fan of dry cereal like cheerios, light cheeses, little bags of dried fruit, and Danone shapers yogurt or pudding. If you…

Heya, I just moved to Nottingham a few months ago. If you ever need a running partner or just moral support let me know. I'd love to meet people in the area that are fitness minded.
