1. Eat every two hours to keep the metabolism running. 2. Drink LOTS of water 3. Workout doing weightlifting first then cardio to burn more calories. 4. Log anything and everything that goes in your mouth even on a cheat day (then make notes of how you feel, pretty sure you'll start seeing a pattern here). 5. Always look…

Wow.....Thanks Guys and Gals for all the feedback. I really appreciate it and I feel so much better knowing I'm not crazy. The 3" around my waist was PROBABLY more of an exaggeration but I needed to get my point across. I don't think I will be checking out a doctor just yet but if it continues I will defiantly go see about…

I have been on Weight Watchers and just about every other diet you can think of. LOL! Even though I did have good results from their program I think I'm more comfortable with doing MFP. In my personal opinion I feel you have to be more dedicated on your own and the accountability of this program is more on yourself then in…

Hello Marley! My name is Missy. I also have 70 lbs to go so maybe it would be a good idea to chat along the way. I started everything back up 1/4/12 of this year and completely changed my eating and workout habits. It's paid off so far but I think the more support you have the better. I've got some really good friends here…

I have never felt so disgusted after reading someone's post as I have yours ElizabethRoad! You must be able to walk on water when it comes to working out and eating right however you seem to be drowning in the tact and rudeness area. Wait a minute if you can walk on water from working out and eating right, why are you even…

I weigh in every Monday. I have steped on the scale once in the middle before but I try to stick with the Monday morning routine. That way if I've gained any it's on a Monday and they always suck no matter what anyway. lol

I have been working out in the morning for about 4 weeks now. I always eat AFTER my workout. However, I do get up and drink a full glass of ice water before I start. There are a ton of studies. Some say you should eat before and and others that say you should eat after. I just like the idea of getting my metabolism working…

Colombianwarrior is correct. No way to spot reduce but eating right along with excerise should work any problem areas. I've found that the olyptical works well for cardio and the squats and lunges really tighten and lift everything in the lower body. Good luck!
