In all honesty, I'd just concentrate on interval training etc. for football. Possibly try intermittent fasting, nothing drastic, and you should see results. I train fasted to ensure my body isn't burning fuel I've just put in my body. Losing fat from the bottom part of your belly is pretty difficult but it can be done.

I always exercise fasted. Just water for me.

The desire to change yourself is all the motivation you really need. Sure, it's a slow process that can be hard, but if it was easy everyone would be fit. You just need to think to yourself, "how much do I want this?". The most important thing is to not procrastinate. Stop thinking you'll start tomorrow, or next week or at…

If you're developing muscle, then I'd ignore what the scales say. It can be too easy to get hung up on what they display, if you feel like your body is changing in a positive way, then keep doing what you're doing.

Well done! :D

"I can do this, right?"... depends on your answer to this question, do you want to get back in shape? Of course you can! Stick with it and you'll get the results you want.
-
Yeah I think I'll maybe give it a go.

My knee pain is from running, as I said. It's a constant pain which I'm booking a doctors appointment about. Whether I had perfect form or not, my knee would still have pain.
-
Orange is the New Black season two is a pain right now! I got a terrible sleep last night because I got hooked on a run of episodes lmao.

Good luck! You'll get your results with some hard work and dedication. Just keep thinking about that end goal when things get tough.
-
Just keep fighting and you'll see the results you want. Things will get better, it's just going to take some time and dedication. By the end though, when you look at yourself in the mirror and like what you see, you'll realise it's been worth every single drop of sweat.

Thanks for getting back to me on this.
