You lose weight (and body fat) by eating fewer calories than you burn. Set your goal to .5 lb. per week, and log everything you eat & drink accurately & honestly.

    Read the Sexypants post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants

Others can give you advice on building muscle after you lose the fat. (You can't do both at the same time.)

If your not losing any fat your consuming more than your body needs.

Log everything that goes into your mouth - EVERYTHING!!!

Also use a HRM to measure your exercise calories burned!

Or do what I do.... Just try and eat healthy & move a lot more : )

Simple.... Take one day at a time

I am sure your get there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all honesty, I'd just concentrate on interval training etc. for football.

Possibly try intermittent fasting, nothing drastic, and you should see results.

I train fasted to ensure my body isn't burning fuel I've just put in my body. Losing fat from the bottom part of your belly is pretty difficult but it can be done.
