Awesome! First is the best grade in my opinion. I'm going into my 9th year and I've taught grades 1-5. My plan for not putting weight on this year is to work through lunch during the week to support my OMAD diet. Maybe wait until after school to break my fast.

You've got some great questions about calories in with OMAD. I will be checking this thread again to see what answers come up. Perhaps there is also some research out there?
-
Keep going. You'll get there!

Great data to show. A week at Disney threw me off too!

Yay for 30 days in!!

I"m proud of you for eating that cookie over two different meals. I would have gobbled that down (probably first). Sounds like you've had some loss, so that's good. Just keep on moving forward. :)

Sounds like a delicious dinner! Way to go on the weight loss!
-
By the way, you may have already mentioned this in a previous post...where are going on vacation? Anything fun?
-
Hi Tracey. Sounds like your cholesterol is moving in the right direction. Remember, this is your diet/lifestyle. However you follow it is your choice. Do what you need to do.
-
Oh! And I visited my school today to start setting up my classroom (I teach 1st grade and teachers officially go back August 3rd, but I always need extra time to prepare and get work done) and another teacher saw me and asked...."Have you lost weight??" Yay!

Happy birthday to me! Today is my birthday and I am now 36. My family and I are going out to dinner at Olive Garden. This is also going to be my OMAD for today. :-) The other days this week have also gone well with doing 16:8.

That cream cheese looks absolutely delicious. Good luck with the 72 hour fast!

Just caught up on your thread! Great work overcoming emotional eating and dropping weight! I'm happy you're finding success and learning more about yourself in the process!

Day 21 of intermittent fasting..... Well...I didn't do any fasting today. Actually I binged most of the day. I kept thinking "eat as much as you can because tomorrow you are going to start fasting again"! My weight is consistently reading 200 pounds. Is it possible I have already gained back the five pounds that I have…
-
You're right, omad and 16:8 are not the same and omad is more bang for your buck. I am doing what I need to make my diet work for me.
-
Eventually, yes. I find 16:8 to be easier than OMAD, but plan to work my way up to more than one OMAD day.
-
@wsandy8512 Thanks for the magnesium suggestion!
-
Hi. Yes, I am doing OMAD 1 day and 16:8 the rest of the 6.

I just read the last week's worth of posts on here to catch up. I'm so relieved that weight came off after you were frustrated during those few days. Your salads look absolutely delicious. I am also curious...are you counting calories?
-
Well....today marks day 20 of intermittent fasting. In the last 20 days my weight has fluctuated quite a bit. The scale will move up and down within a 5 pound range daily. The lowest number I have seen on the scale is 195 lbs. This is a 5 pound loss from when I have started (and I'll take it!). Last week I did spend a week…

Hello and welcome! This is a very supportive and active group. Good luck with your journey.

First day back to 16:8 fasting. Man I was hungry when lunch time rolled around. I ended up eating a little over 1900 calories. This is still better than my diet only a few weeks ago. Before fasting I would easily eat an average of 2300-2500 calories each day. The only real hurdle I've encountered is some constipation. This…

I'm sorry your husband walked out on you. :(

Hello! Just returned from a week long trip in Florida. My family and I visited 3 Disney Parks, walked a ton, but also ate lots of food. Fasting went out the window, so it's time to hit the RESET button! Beginning tomorrow I am back to 16:8 intermittent fasting 6 days per week and OMAD 1 day per week (usually Fridays). 1500…

Forgive yourself and try again until you figure out what works for you. Nobody gets to the top of a mountain without falling on his face over and over again... Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team for lack of skill... Steven Spielberg (a high school drop out) was rejected from film school 3 times...…

The breakfast you posted today looks absolutely delicious. It's your diet/way of eating... do it your way. :)
-
Yum! What are you drinking?
-
Looks you are off to a good start. Good luck!

Congratulations on the loss. The graph is also awesome for data analysis.
