These help me too.

I read your whole thread- it's so inspiring! I'm hoping 2015 will be the year I can achieve my goal. You look great!

I increased my protein and my fiber. If I eat more calories than 1200, I exercise off the extra. I also try to eat whole foods that are somewhat bulky like vegetables and fruit. I plan protein and fiber snacks and drink water with them. This has really helped me stick to my plan.

You are a hero to all of us trying to make the change. Congratulations on what you've accomplished! I am a quarter of the way to my goal... Your success cheers me on!

I've never had "pickled pigs feet", my mother loved them and ate them every Christmas as a treat. Not for me. I've never had artichokes... don't know how to prepare them, but would try it since people say how much they love them.

Wow! Just Wow! You give me so much hope. Congratulations on meeting your goal!

I'm a 55 yrs old, female, 5'5 and 229. I'm eating 1200 to 1300 cals daily and this is comfortable for me. I walk all day at my job, and hike on weekends. I do cardio at the gym and eat back 2/3 calories because I don't want to go under 1200 cals. I've been losing about 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. a week. With loss, I fear I may…

You can do the same thing by dropping your sodium to 1200mg a day and drinking more water.

You look like two different people...amazing transformation and you give me hope to do the same!

Some burn centers offer skin removal for free if you donate it. You could actually be helping a lot of other people...nothing selfish about that.

Since you will be talking to your doctor, prior to the race, I can't see any better advice than he can give. Do what he tells you and put your health first.
-
Amazing. Wow!

Stick to it and you can do it, one pound at a time. Never stop working at your health, its the best thing you can do for yourself and for those you love.

Lowering my sodium has been challenging for me, but I'm learning. It is a must for me as I only have 1 kidney. I learned some good ideas following this thread. Thanks. Since I've been working in lowering sodium, I feel better, and no longer retain extra fluid around my ankles. I think it is very important to monitor if you…

Don't guess. If the headaches continue, go see your doctor.

I heard that some burn centers will perform the operation for free, if you donate the skin to them for skin grafts.

Protein: brussel sprouts, beans, egg whites, flounder, whey protein powder, cottage cheese, nuts

See a podiatrist for faster injury recovery. You don't want to let that go, it could set your work outs back.

I was always hungry too, but I increased my protein and fiber and it made all the difference for me. Oh and drink a cup of water after eating a fiber snack. I really like Fiber One oats and chocolate bars or Fiber One Protein bars.

I think I'd rather be fat me, than be the skinny guy who yelled out his car window.... because skinny or fat, I know I am loved and forgiven. I know because it is a gift I have received. Evidently the man in the car knows neither love or forgiveness.

I say be honest in who you are if you can't trust your trainer to be professional then you need a different trainer.

Ihave same problem. Since Im eating healthier, less processed foods, it is sometimes hard to eat a full 1200 (or more if exercising)...and stay within macros limits. I too get very full.

Very helpful post and encouraging. Thanks.

Figuring out the right diet plan...Ive tried so... many. I lose initially and then my body adjusts and I stay the same. But I haven't given up...I'll figure it out yet, I'm stubborn!

Lower your salt intake to 1500mg and keep your caffeine intake down to 1 to 2 cups a day. Also include 1 tsp a day of cinnamon in your diet. Drink lots of water. All of these things help.

No Pudge brownies...they use vanilla yogurt. You can make single servingsin the microwave.. No Pudge brand is found in the bakery section of the grocery store. Helps my cravings for chocolate.
