I got sick mad crazy hip bones so it didn't take a lot of work to see my hip bones when lying down. I was super stoked when I first felt my jeans and belt resting on my hip bones. That gives me an incentive to keep going. Congrats on your collar bones ???? :)

Thanks for your feedback. I have been working on my form since your feedback, and I have switched gyms so that I can actually work with an Olympic barbell and kettlebells. My former gym had neither. I met with a trainer yesterday. He evaluated my form for Stronglift 5x5. I have new game plan for now. 1. Activate glutes…

I printed it out and put it on my scale. It didn't even register. If I REALLY wanted to know, I would take the plate, put it on a scale, scoop the potatoes off of the plate, zero the scale, and put the potatoes back on the plate and use that measurement.

All we have at the gym are these preloaded bars and dumbbells..... And the Smith machine. :/ I'll try to get another video without the jeans. I don't usually work put in jeans. I didn't want to not work out due to not having shorts. If my form is the same with shorts, then the jeans are not the problem. Lol. I'll check out…

Did you squat with weight? It might help to try squats without weights to help build those muscles. I do 10 to 20 squats in the file room every time I walk up to the copier at work and it has to warm up. I think the squats without weights help to build those muscles and makes the squats with weights more bearable. I could…

Thanks for asking this question. I have little appetite post workout in the evenings, and most of the time I am way under my goal calories. I usually have an ON protein drink and call it good, even if I remain under calories post workout, but have been thinking about trying Ensure post workout instead of going to be under…

I had to get new clothes for work when my old ones started hanging on me. I didn't really have those clothes listed as a reward because I needed them for work, but I did just treat myself to new workout clothes. I totally believe in rewarding myself. I believe my next reward will be a pair of properly fitted running shoes.

I have given hours to my Jacuzzi tub that I will never be able to get back. I sweat and relax, but have yet to find any reliable information on health benefits to the jets in the Jacuzzi. I'm guessing that the sauna is in the same boat as the Jacuzzi - there are a lot of suggestions out there that it is somehow beneficial…

I love meanie threads. Everyone who participates in MFP is a meanie. I also love that meanie threads get so many responses. Maybe you should antagonize us all by saying someone picked on you, and then you'll get some responses. ;)

When I first came here to MFP, I was following a program suggested by my health insurance plan which suggested 1200 calories a day. I logged my food, and I logged my exercise. I was logging 400-500 calorie workouts and I was eating 1200 calories a day. The program did NOT allow for eating back the calories at all. I…

Really? It is often explained here that you cannot ride a bicycle in 2 directions at once. Either you are losing weight at a deficit or building muscle. Either, or. These two things do not happen at the same time when we first start working out according to many posts here on MFP. You cannot ride a bike in 2 directions at…
