Hello ladies! I used MFP a few years ago to lose about 15lbs over a summer. However, about 10lbs of that snuck back on over the year and about a week ago I started using MFP again seriously. My goal is to drop 20-30lbs in the next year or less. I am turning 33 tomorrow so am super motivated to lose this weight before it…

Hi there! I am 30yrs old and started having knee problems when I was 13. I was also diagnosed with the same thing you were, and I also have flat feet. When the pain started I was in a pre-professional ballet training program and wanted to be a full-time dancer. By the time I was 18 I had to quit ballet, but I continued to…

Hi! I have been gluten-free since before I can remember. Luckily my pediatrician was ahead of the times and diagnosed me properly. Celiac's disease wasn't widely heard of in the 80s, and very few doctors were willing to accept it as a valid diagnosis. Anyway, I don't know about low carb stuff, but I am going to go open my…

I really really really hate exercise for the sake of exercise. I also dislike EVERYTHING about gyms. Thus, I have involved myself in many forms of dancing throughout my life. Now I am a ballroom and latin dancer. I also have recently taken up rock climbing which produces a great burn, but with a lot of fun! Typically…

Yes!!! I totally agree with you on this! As a part-time gig I teach couples how to dance properly to their wedding song (I am a competitive ballroom dancer), and one of the things I always ask is if they intend on doing a "dip" at any point. If they are, I insist that they learn how to do it properly and safely!

Yup...sounds typical :-) I am glad you worked that part out. I am a very honest person and am very open with everyone. However, when I do cheat I not only feel bad about doing it, but I feel even worse because I hide it, and will do everything to keep that moment of weakness a secret. I still don't know exactly why that…

Let me start off by saying that I have been gluten intolerant all my life. I was lucky that my pediatrician diagnosed me properly in the beginning which has saved me a ton of anguish. However, eating gluten free hasn't always been easy, and yes, I struggled with "cheating" many times growing up. Now that I am older, I am…
