Still a bit behind the rest of you but L2D4 done today. It was brutal but I got through. I have been concentrating on my 5K training as well so at least I'm still exercising. :)

I would suggest a piece of fruit (~60 cals) or other small snack just to get you by. There is no reason you can't eat in the evenings and it sounds like you need to. Just save a few cals for an evening snack and you'll be fine. Good luck and don't take it out on your spouse.

Okay so Pilates yesterday but no 30DS, I was just too tired to get up early. Finished L2 D2 this morning and man was it tough! I may be a bit behind because of travel, etc. but I'm happy with my results so far. I haven't done any measurements but I know I'm stronger and my arms and thighs are looking and feeling stronger…

Don't worry because it does happen. Whenever I look at myself and think why am I doing this again, I try to think of all the things I can do now because of the lost weight. All of the cute outfits I can wear, how strong my body is and how strong I am for being healthy. Stick to it and find something to believe in...you can…

I started the Kaiser Medical Management Weight loss program in December of 2010 and my fasting glucose was 81 and my cholesterol was 154. Not that high I admit but after losing almost 90 lbs since then my numbers look like this: glucose 84 and cholesterol 122. Your numbers will go down as you get healthier. Good luck!

Okay, so I fell off the wagon of 30DS due to travel this past week and weekend. Tomorrow morning will be D2 L2 and D2 5K training. I miss my workouts but I'm trying not to be discouraged by my absence from it. At least I didn't gain anything in that time.

You may need to adjust the types of food you are eating. Try making each meal contain protein, fat and carbs. The mix will help you feel full longer and satisfied. Stay away from processed carbs and too much sugar because they will make you feel hungry again in a short time. Hope this helps.

I haven't done the 30DS in three days! My sister had her baby Tuesday morning so I have been with her and her family and really need to get back on my work out routine. It's funny but I really miss my mornings with Jillian. :)

I was in your shoes in January. I am the oldest of three girls and was always to fat sister. I was a 20 and my sisters were a 6-8 and 10-12. Even my mom and dad were smaller than me. I had no idea how I'd look as I lost weight and frankly didn't have a goal weight in mind. I kept at it and have lost about 85 lbs and am…

My husband and I are going to take a week in Hawaii next year as a reward to losing our extra weight and keeping it off for 6 months (by February 2012). My ultimate reward will be finally being healthy enough to get pregnant and start a family. But right now I just am enjoying feeling and looking great.

Finished Day 6 today...had to take the weekend off due to being out of town. Decided to level up for this week to fight the boredom factor so D1L2 done. I must say L2 was easier and harder at the same time. The variety of muscle movements was great but much more jumping and it seems more intense. We'll see how the rest of…

If it fits into your calories for the day it won't keep you from losing weight but I wouldn't replace too many food calories with alcohol too often.

I way every morning after my shower and before breakfast. I have a Withings scale that tells fat % and BMI and logs my progress online. I like weighing everyday because it allows me to see how my weight fluctuates naturally day by day. I usually take an average of my weekly weights and think of that as my weight. I figure…

I second the outmeal. It's a great way to start the day. Add some nuts or fruit for some extra flavor and nutrients. Or try other hot cereal combinations if you don't want just plain oatmeal. It keeps you full and is super low fat.

I've lost almost 90lbs and find myself grabbing my sides or rubbing my back constantly. Feeling the bones and muscles and not the fat is still really weird. My husband will see me do this and ask if i'm okay/in pain. I'm fine just getting used to my new body. :)

Day 4 Level 1 done! I really didn't want to get out of bed and do this today but I did and I feel great. I think I'll take a break this weekend since I"ll be out of town and try Level 2 next week (or at least on Monday) to spice things up.

Day 1 is done! It's been awhile since I did this video and I forgot how tiring it really is. I sent in my measurements but my starting weight this morning is 156.

I can't wait to start!

I'm in! I started it back in June but didn't finish. I'd like to get back into it and would love the support of a group.

I know how you feel. The loose skin and flabby look takes a lot to get used to. I've been disappointed in how I look but I also tell myself that the skin was stretched out over the fat for so long it's going to take time to tighten up. I've been doing cardio and lots of ab exercises to tighten and tone the muscle so that…

That sounds amazing!

I recently bought an edamame hummus and a white bean hummus. Both are very good and have slightly different flavor than traditional.

I just read the same article. What a great accomplishment. Really inspires you to follow the healthy eating and exercise lifestyle.

July 11th calories: 368

I suggest logging while you binge. That way you have to focus on how many calories you are eating and it will help you make a conscious decision to stop. Hang in there.

Great job everyone!

I love the new plate idea. It breaks it down better as far as what you should see on your plate at meals. Plus how does a pyramid help anyone plan their day?
-
Fabulous job! I'm impressed and inspired and I love your truths list. I think I may steal it to put in my signature.

I had the same problem when I started losing weight and exercising. It felt like I was sitting on knives. I found that the only thing to help was to sit up and make sure the pressure was on my hip bones and not my tailbone and give it time to heal. I think a pressure bruise formed and it took months before it didn't hurt…
