Interesting how many people here have PCOS. I have it too. I am 297 lbs and it's a fight to lose every single pound. My weight is constantly up/down. It was definitely inspiring to read some of the stories in this thread!

I have problems with breakfast too, so I started using Ideal Shape to supplement breakfast. Sometimes I make it with water, other times I use almond or coconut milk, and sometimes I add fruit and make it a smoothie. It's much cheaper than Herbalife, yummy, and keeps me full.

I took it several years ago. I lost about 60 pounds in just under a year, and followed a nutrition plan provided by my doctor. At the beginning I had issues sleeping, so I started taking it earlier, and at the doctor's suggestion, took a benedryl at night to help me sleep. I didn't gain the weight back until a few years…

Definitely talk to your doctor! Although, I will tell you that I was also really heavy when I got pregnant. My doctor told me not to go below 1600 calories per day, and if I lost (within reason) or maintained my weight that he was fine with it. It's not uncommon or unreasonable. Just talk to your doctor so that the two of…

I love the Think Thin bars. White chocolate is my favorite.

Thongs (I think panty lines are tacky, and your underwear generally ends up up your butt anyway, so you might as well just wear it there), but my hubby likes me in boy shorts (still no panty lines, and still no wedgies), and I've found them to be really comfy too, so either one. When working out, definitely commando... I…

Me too! I'm looking to lose 100+.

I notice that I do retain water, and generally gain a few pounds before and during, but my weight goes back down 2-3 days afterward.

I absolutely see a difference! Great job! You'll be out of the 300's in no time... just keep keepin' on. ;) You've done an awesome job so far!!

If I'm in a hurry, I eat greek yogurt and granola, and it generally holds me over until lunch. If I have about 5 minutes, I eat two poached eggs (large) (I have one of those tupperware things that you put in the microwave to poach eggs in a minute), two pieces of toast (I'm gluten-free, so my bread is 160 calories for two…

That's AWESOME!!! Congratulations!! What an amazing feeling.

I vote Dane! I've always loved that name. Then again, my son is a junior (Philip Andrew), so that tells you how creative I am... :)

You can do what I did... I told my husband I wasn't making two meals, and he would have to eat what I fixed. I try to be mindful of the things he absolutely will not eat, but everything else is fair game. If he doesn't like it, he knows that he's free to make something else for himself. Needless to say, he's since joined…

I have PCOS, so I limit my carbs to aid in my weight loss. I have my settings for 20% carbs, 20% fat, and 60% protein (per my doc's suggestion). So far, so good for me. I'm down 12.5 lbs in just under a month.

They did it first thing in the morning (7:45 a.m.), so I just didn't eat again after dinner the night before.

Wowwww! What a big difference in such a short time, Your hard work is sure paying off! Great job!

I'm in! I have it and keep saying I'm going to start. The 1st is as good a day as any. So, October 1st it is. Thanks for the swift kick to get me started. ;)

I had a test done at a doctor's office. I fasted for 12 hours, no exercise for 12 hours prior, and did minimal activity beforehand (including moving VERY slowly, etc. I probably shouldn't have showered, but I did). The goal is to stay as close to resting as possible. You also need to be somewhat tired. Then, when I got…

I barely meet the 1480, so 1800 will be hard, but I agree that I am pretty deficient. I do work out at least three times a week and burn 600-900 calories, according to my HRM. Thanks for your input, everyone!

That's awesome!! Thanks.

I eat 1480. I haven't started weight training again, but I'm planning to do so soon. I guess now is as good a time as any!

No, the RMR is resting energy expenditure (which is done at a resting rate), whereas BMR is what it takes for your body to function. Given that I was awake and active in the morning, RMR provides an estimate of the BMR. I have the report in front of me, and it says those terms exactly. I have no idea what TDEE is. It does…

That's hilarious, and totally awesome!! Congrats!!

WOW! What an a**! I think he probably uses his ego to compensate for his own lack of confidence. If someone can't support you in the things you find important (and commend you for wanting to get healthy), they're not someone you want to date anyway. Plus, while we all know looks do matter a little bit, isn't it the person…

Always when we say "hi" and "bye" and sometimes throughout the evening, depending on how much relaxing we get to do. Always before bed, and most definitely during sexy time.

I love both, but I'm leaning toward outfit 2.
