Had a red fox cross the road in front of me a couple Let of days ago.

Don't let them scare you, they are vegetarians.

The purple fungi looks like an anemone!

Saw a bike coming down the road towards me (I was in my truck) with nice bright lights. I was wondering what kind he was using until I passed him and saw that he had a flashlight in each hand! They were effective but looked like it would be difficult to control your bike and brake too!
-
Nice, didn't know that!
-
I saw 3 other bikers today; unusual because I usually don't see any other bikers. I had a snake and a squirrel cross in front of me a couple of weeks ago.

I've used the Gu salted caramel gel and Skratch hydration drink and can really tell a difference. I'm not totally wasted after a ride now. One more ride and I will be back to where I was 3 years ago when I stopped riding. Also have a "real" road bike so I'm quicker too!

Mowing my yard is not a "small activity". I easily burn 700 calories in an hour. 1.6 acres! Measured with hrm.

Biking!

They're actually quite tasty and chock full of vitamin C.

I had a hybrid for several years and spent a lot of time trying to make it perform like a road bike. So this year I went ahead and bought a road bike!

Never had this problem until this year. Did a longer cool down and it worked!
-
Haven't used them yet but got a box of Gu gel and also ordered Skratch electrolyte drink. Will try out Thursday!
-
If you're getting laid regularly, no. But if a rare occurrence, yes.
-
I received a box of the Gu salted caramel gels in the mail today. Opened one just to taste it (not bad). Will try on my next ride.

It's waiting for you right now!

Chocolate milk and half of a turkey sandwich work great for bringing up a low blood sugar. Used them on patients several times.

Taking a 5 minute break from ride along lake.

Let's see, patch kit, tire levers, miniature crescent wrench, Allen wrenches, presta valve adapters, chain tool, keys.

There is a flat section along my route after a series of hills that I would leisurely pedal through until some horseflies discovered the area! I found out that they flew less than 11 mph because that was the slowest I could go and not get bitten. So much for my little breather!

I have Shimano that I bought from a local bike shop. This is my first pair of clip-ins and although I am still getting used to them, I really like them.
-
Just wanting to prevent the "bonk". It happened to me a while ago but never again after I started drinking Gatorade and taking a peanut jelly sandwich with me. Looking for something more compact. I appreciate all of the good advice!

For who?
-
Definitely fits the odd category!

Making me hungry with the strawberry fig newtons. I've had those before but not for the energy. I'll definitely take some along on the bike rides.
