I personally put about half in the fridge and half in the freezer depending on what I'm making, and just cut up vegetables and pack/eat fruit alongside it. MFP used to frustrate the hell out of me because 1200 calories isn't enough. It's just the default it goes to. I agree with all of the above comments suggesting calculating your ideal calories elsewhere and inputting it into your 'goals' section on here. Bah, I haaaate that. I usually have really good self control and wont buy junk food/anything I know I'll go crazy over (cheetos, cake)- out of sight, out of mind. And then my mom shows up with a bag of cheetos... "Look what I bought you because I love yoooou" =/
