I had to cut pastries completely. Was major cause of my obesity. Now, can have them but baulk at the empty calories versus better choices. Sometimes,if you cant trust yourself;you just have to strong and eradicate 1 of thousands of items.

The calories are on the box/sachet. Macrogal 20 cals for 4g f . Fybogel(p husk) 4 cala for 4g fibre. Lowest cal to fibre ratio i can find. Scan your box and report back.

Layers of crane brand(aldi) for my long run today in in 2°c (36f). Compression shorts,long socks and long sleeved shirt under padded cycling tifhts(thicker) with half zip hi vis tech shirt.thicker crane cycling gloves too. Cost under £30($50).

agree totally.i now drive past 3 new l£10 a month gyms to get to my significantly more costly contracted gym.when contract is over,i shall be moving on too.

I dont like smell/texture but my sister loves it! Needs a good rinse first;and maybe an inventive sauce with garlic/anchovies etc. Deffo worth a try. Ps their skinny flapjacks are great with decent protein and massive fibre for the calories. Enjoy!

welcome aboard Malene, i just concentrate on the monitor,watching form,stroke speed (spm) and avg pace over 500m. its an individual thing,i would suggest maybe more short intervals like rowing 1000/2000m repeats to break it up. the conceptc2.com also has plenty of tips and advice too. glad to have you with us.

21 days straight of eating salad had me confirm lettuce allergy. something obv doesnt agree so cut shake out and re- introduce 1 item at a time. unlikely to be too much fibre imo.i unless you have ibs or diverticulitis?

agreed. there are also other free apps such as runkeeper/endomondo that sync with mfp that will give slower pace.i also use samsung galaxy health on s5. mfp also has category for this in cardio >jogging/running in place. use both till you achieve mfp minimum run speed of 5mph/8kph.

rowing,strength training and plyometrics(planks,leg raises,medicine ball ab crunches etc) along with running where the targeted plan from last october devised by PT at nuffield gym. down from 46" waist to 30" following that and mfp over last 18 months. you ever utilise work gym/trainers?

i suffer from 2 same diagnosed problems. i am prescribed fybogel and laxido,which both add 12g fibre for about 20 cals daily. berries are lowest cal to highest fibre ratio i can eat. high fibre soya+ linseed bread,daily soup and veggies get me to 45-60g fibre daily on about 1900 cals net. diary is open. dont get hung up on…

a 5 minute walk to run starting point does me. warm down stretches and foam rolling critical for me. have you tried foam rolling as warm up?

Define old? At 53,i swear by them. No injuries since i started wearing them I even sleep in them post race/long run. Cost £2($3) from aldi.

Absolutely same company split into 2 seperate divivisions; aldi sud and aldi nord. Awesomely mighty oat flapjacks my current fave. 100g 329 cal 8.5g protein 17g fibre.49p. Also, Benefit bars good bang for calorie buck.

rotating shoes and tracking mileage on them is really important. have similar stats to you, and similar problem was resolved by replacing long run shoes. i also swear by compression socks,esp post run overnight.
